This game had such a great writing and character development. From honorable warriors being cautious/competitive with each other. Turning to respect for their skill and integrity. Maxim and Selan falling in love and getting married. And then the ending T_T This song sums it all up.

This piece was used in a PC game written by a fellow hobby game developer. For years after playing the game, this was a piece I would occasionally play from memory on the piano.

I've definitely got Priphea Flowers and Port Town on the list. Some of the others I'll have to do my own arrangements for since I don't have access to all the instruments, but I should be able to get some pretty good versions of them!

I haven't played it, but I know of two occasions: When Tia invites Maxim over for dinner, and in the first part of the ending ("To the Future" is the second ending theme).

It never seemed to get much advertising at the time. I remember I discovered it because it was the only SNES game at the local rental place that I'd never heard of, so I tried it once and fell in love with it.

Yeld We can't compare a 1990's original soundtrack using the SNES chip to this real instruments playing, it's like comparing the future with the past, right? I'm sure Mr Yasunori Shiono have used real instruments like this prior to composing this piece, with the limitation on a 16-bit Console sound chip. I do agree that Andrew's cover is outstanding, though. It's very well played and accurate and true to the original feeling and nature.
