I would have cleared that more easily if turning in place, which doesn't advance time, was mentioned more than just the one time 3 minutes into the game just to never be important until this moment many gameplay hours later.

XD SAAAAME! I was lucky enough to have an older brother who already knew how to beat it, so after watching him do this about 10 times helped me out when I first tried the puzzle myself
