Since the real any% is just a menu credits warp this category is the main category for Lufia 2, "No Major Glitches". This category doesn't allow any gamebreaking glitches, big skips or sequence breaks but is almost entirely RNG manipulated by executing every screen without any mistakes on action inputs or movement errors.

This game is sincerely totally utterly my favorite game. I got it when it was released in the Netherlands, translated in Dutch.. and the ending made me cry, the story was so deep. Even now it brings memories to me.

Yups, I had the same feeling. I played the game in Dutch to. It even got a big magazine with it (walk through) with how to play. Only the dragon cave (got I hated those 9 bushes puzzle), wasnt included. Got me hooked for a very long time. The ending was a thing I really didnt expect to happen. Even till date now, I still get watery from the ending when I rewatch it on youtube!

It's an amazing rpg. The puzzles, character progression, story and music are the best. The wedding songs are my phone's ringtone to this day lol.

Got here after watching DoctorSwellman's breakdown on the crazy credits warp glitch run. It's a lot of fun watching it being quickly played through without such major glitches, too.

Lufia II was the first RPG I ever really played all the way through as a kid, and it was incredibly influential to me. It's a joy seeing someone blow it away like this. Killer run bro, good to see this game getting the love I feel it deserves.

Hah kinda of the same for me. It was first SNES game I ever bought! Initially I almost got talked into FFVI but the guy at the game store insisted Lufia 2 would be a better starter jRPG than FFVI. Looking back I can see why!

It's always cool to see THE POWER OF ITEMS in the hands of something like this. Fighting? Grinding? Nah, just ITEM BAG TO THE RESCUE I would be esctactic with just figuring out how to get the rare drops, like the Catfish Jewel, without rng manip; nevermind the best possible thing actually owning the game physically (with a console to play it) ^^::

Eines der schönsten SNES RPG aller Zeiten.. Dicht gefolgt von Secret of Mana und Terranigma.. Die SNES hatte schon einiges zu bieten.. Mal abgesehen von allen anderen wundervollen RPGs auf der SNES.. Bin aktuell alle mal wieder am durchspielen, ein hoch auf die emulatoren.. 😁 Deine speedruns sind mega, Stiftet einen dazu an das auch in Angriff zu nehmen, bis dahin erstmal Any % genießen 😁 Hoffe es kommen bald neue Runs, sobald ich in Gruberia auftauche wird definitiv die ahnenhöhle gesuchtet, ich mag sie ja mit Arty mehr, aber Dekar haut halt schon rein 😄 Bis dahin 😊 Ps Wenn Maxim und Selan heiraten, plus alles davor und danach, da kommen mir jedes Mal fast die Tränen, wie schnell es Lufia schafft ne Connection zu den Charakteren zu finden ist einmalig 😊

I was looking for someone who sped run this game and you did a great job. I know your not currently working on this game but there is a glitch with the hammer item that can cause you to go from getting the 2nd engine straight to near the end of the game. It might save a lot of time, im not sure. But basically you can use the hammer animation and move at the same time, and there is a spot where you revisit that has a second trigger just past the first one your supposed to hit, but if you hammer move at that location, you skip over it to the next trigger which if i remember correctly sends you straight to the sinistral island. I was curious if you were aware of this.

no i was not but it sounds very interesting. there is an easy way to ACE in this game so the actual any% is a credits warp. this here is actually no major glitches even though no one refers to it like that but a skip of that size would also rather be a major glitch. i'd be still interested to see it. you can pm me on discord if you want to talk about this

@@Zheal My problem is can not get eagle rock in lake cave so I always die against catfish ... i tried do not hold dpad in world change and tap dpad in creating bridge but not :C Sorry if my english is so bad

Im nachhein betrachtet hätt ich für die speedruns evt nen neuen channel machen sollen anstelle den alten "umzufunktionieren" aber der LP channel wird mittlerweile mit ziemlicher sicherheit nicht mehr weitergeführt werden also auch nicht wirklich viel grund ihn zu behalten
