It happened once when the departure runway was on the far end of the airport. Our crew had a clear taxiway and no crossings and realized their slot time was too tight, so they went for a 40+ knot taxi, got clearance right before making the turn to the runway and went straight full throttle the moment they got on to it. That was fun. Fastest taxi I've ever been in. Felt like the plane was a big bike.

Normally, you turn on the strobes when cleared for T/O. Seems like he got a very early T/O clearance, which is not unusual when there is no traffic inbound or on the rwy.

Pratt & Whitney engines are the quietest I've heard so far. GE and RR are awesome but loud.

New GE engines are the quietest

These are the GTF engines. The fan runs slow but puts out a lot more air. The thrust is immense but the engine is really quiet.

Why is it that every major airport in the world in every major city looks like it's out in the middle of nowhere Melbourne Australia is the worst it's like 25 minutes from even beginning to look like your approaching a city

Hey can you take me to the airport sure well that's a 4-Hour drive from the last stop light so be ready 9 hours early because I have to make a right turn and from there it's another 4 hours it's only three blocks but it's 4 hours
