@@gentionthego Yes we are staying at the Marriott on site hotel at Frankfurt so if we wake up early enough we should have about 4 hours to enjoy the lounge.

Great Video, thanks. Many years ago, there was a shuttle service from the First Class Check-In area in the Terminal A all the way to the FCT, never understood, why this service was cancelled.

Great video, thank you, I will be flying the same route in F soon 😊 I have a couple of questions: Was there no Japanese meal option? I only saw what looked like Western menu in your video. What are the tapas offered as a night snack? Did you manage to have a look even if you didn’t have it? Was there a snack bar set up in the middle when the first service finished? Or did you have to call the FA for everything?

Thank you so much. There were a few Japanese options on the menu: Salmon Tataki style for starter, and Beef Sukiyaki style for main (which I did not order on this occasion). Snacks were set up in the middle but I was so full after the meal that I did not take any. You can just help yourself at anytime throughout the flight if you are feeling peckish.

Compared to other first class seating accommodations, this looks weak. Lufthansa really need to step up their first class products.

The Allegris (First Class) will eventually be introduced (likely in early 2025). But the First Class Terminal in Frankfurt and the Porsche transfer are outstanding.

They took us in a VW van to the plane. Not what we expected.

@@somchaiwongma3813 My advice is next time you request the Porsche transfer upon arrival in the First Class Terminal (which is what I did). While there is still no guarantee, at least your PA will take note of the request. I was told if several different parties board onto the same First Class flight, a VW van is also more likely.

We bought 3 First Class Tickets. (We didn’t pay with miles). When I told the guy that we weren’t expecting to be taken in a van to the plane, the response was “there is another guy, he wouldn’t fit together with you in the Porsche” So Lufthansa didn’t want to sent him in a separate car, saving the gas… pathetic.

Thanks for the comment. Only the short sequence (inserted video) where a plane pushes back is indeed a Lufthansa B747-400 (Not 747-4) for the purpose of a video during push back. But I travelled on a B747-8 from FRA to HND. I just love those B747s. Cheers

@@Opoutama : There are three ways to tell the difference 1. The wings. The 748 has raked wings. The 744 has winglets 2. The engines: The 748 has the same type engines like the 787. The nacelles around the exhaust have that unusual cowled shape. 3. The upper deck: The bubble/the upper deck of the 748 is extended.

I don't like Lufthansa because of its bad service and permanent arrogance for all who don't fly first class. But I adore and I appreciate the queen of the skies and I won't miss just one take off and touch down with that bird!
