Lufthansa V.S. British Airways | Which is the better option on Long-Haul?

Today I'm comparing long-haul on two of Europe's largest flag-carriers.

In all my years of flying across the pond, I've never actually had the oppo to fly on BA! Nor United for that matter. Only between London and other European cities, so always on a narrow. But I've done a Lufthansa A340-600 (D-AIHD) back in 2019 from Chicago to Munich. Interesting bird. - Red

BA has quite a few US city destinations but the easiest way to get on a transatlantic British Airways flight is probably from an American Airlines hub, as they are both from Oneworld. Chicago has like 2 daily ones. How was flying Lufthansa overnight from Chicago? I’ve flown 3 Lufthansa transatlantic flights in my life but they were all westbound.

@@redcomusic I'll watch it tonight! I haven't taken any A340-600, however, I did get a chance on their Boeing 747-400 (D-ABVS, unfortunately scrapped as of today). I also took their A330 a few years before the A340-300 flight in this video.

The answer is Air France or KLM. And neither are too good, but still in a complete different universe than either of these two options.

I wouldn't be surprised, I've wanted to try them for a while. I actually was supposed to take a few KLM flights in 2020 but they were all cancelled due to Covid. But this video is about BA and LH, not those two.
