I'm trying: +1 Lumineon, -1 research. +1 Iono, -1 Carmine. -1 mesagossa, +1 greatball and -1 gift +1 v guard. Want to love it but turn 2 cheops is rare

Yeah they’re solid difference’s - still trying things but yeah it’s very all or nothing - not a deck/strategy I’m a massive fan of!

Legacy Energy is a double-edged sword. On one hand, I really like what it adds to the deck. But on the other hand, Lugia takes a hit in consistency with its inclusion. After testing out the deck on PTCGL, I feel I'm actually having less success than I did pre-Twilight Masquerade when it comes to actually setting up. I'm losing two Great Ball and Master Ball, and in exchange I'm getting two clunky attackers that are great, but won't get to attack if I don't set up, and are utterly useless if I prize Legacy Energy. I'm considering trying a build that just adds Ursa and Secret Box instead. I didn't really need more than Cinccino before anyway. Carmine also doesn't seem to matter much in my own testing. Just a worse Research in all but the first turn.

Yeah unfortunately without Legacy the deck is in the same spot to what it is now! This version loses Master Ball but gains two Pokemon search slots over current lists (not needing collapseds) so whilst seems like you’re losing a lot, isn’t losing much for a huge increase in power! Yeah still back and forth on Carmine honestly, might not be the way!
