Luigi in the comics was great and brave. Luigi in the cartoon was also personable and brave just like Mario. It was only in Super Mario RPG when Luigi disappeared and started to slide into the cowardly role that defined him in the later games that I really started to see Nintendo morph him into a cowardly ghost buster...

I understand that this was done to separate Luigi from Mario, but I really hate how he's literally turned into a walking joke now. I don't laugh when I see characters that are suppose to be his freaking friends diss him and doubt him. I don't laugh when I see him do something clumsy and dumb all for the sake of "comedy" or the fact that hardly anyone (besides Mario) takes him seriously. I cringe. If I were to write Luigi's character, I would give it a good changeup and some character development. He'll still have his silly, scared and cautious moments because that's what makes him Luigi. However, I would definitely tone down all of his butt-monkey moments and all of the jokes and jabs about him not measuring up to Mario. In fact, I think a game where Luigi gets over his self-conscious fear of not living up to Mario's standards would be nice. He would ultimately comes to terms with the fact that he doesn't need to measure up to his bro and would instead focus on being his own hero and being there for Mario when he needs him. And more importantly, he would have friends that DON'T bash him or forget his name. Mario would still be more famous of course since he constantly puts himself out on the front lines, but Luigi would still have his own fans and admirers too.

Luigi got bad in Super Mario Bros. 2 because he was too hard to control (and looked stupid the way he ran in midair). Sometimes when playing MB or SMB I would kill off Mario and play as Luigi.

I feel like I just watched a black screen for 3 min with some noise as sound. They didn't really touch the subject in the title or description and what they did say made no sense. Luigi a coward? and then shows a Luigi's Mansion picture. If anything, Luigi's Mansion show Luigi isn't a coward but loyal, trustworthy, and brave. If he was a coward he would never set one foot into the mansion. Everybody laughed when Luigi got killed. What?!?!?!?! where, when, who. I have seen a lot of reactions of that trailer and I saw maybe 2-3 were entertained at most. A lot were surprised which I can't blame them and a few was sad about it. No one was laughing.

Congrat you know a game which Luigi might be a coward. Then why dont you be useful and go tell the creator of this video about that game so she can use that as an examble of luigi being a coward instead of luigi's mansion.
