@@SoulEssence Yeah, sometimes when Luigi does his side-b "Green Missile" it can "misfire". In this game in particular Luigi burst into flames and goes flying horizontally EXTREMLY fast and EXTREMELY far and if it hits it can be DEVASTATING even if your damage is low. In the newer games though, they toned down the visual effects and he doesn't explode into flames, so it's not as visually pleasing and they slowed his speed down by A LOT so it's easier to dodge.

In all fairness both Luigi and mr.g&w moves that contain rng are bad if they are unlikely. For example, mr.g&w getting a 1, but hero will never roll a bad option as if they f-smash they still get a regular f-smash power not a severely weaker version like mr.g&w rolling a 1 on his down special. Also with hero's spells he isnt his balanced with rng with a spectrum from bad to good but instead from good to broken. As almost all of his spell are good and none of them even having a negative effect(other than hocus pocus but in all fairness this move is already extreme broken as being able to become giant in a match with no item is actually insane)

Today Luigi took over the world I live in. So, I was playing Luigi against a CPU and he was offstage. I walked off stage and side b'd Marth. Guess what I got? A misfire. And it hit. I was laughing so hard and then I went to the ledge using SIDE B. Guess what then? MISFIRE. I died (of laughter). But I'm not even done yet So, last stock each with me in the lead. I side b'd off stage. And guess what it was. A misfire. AGAIN. I thought I was screwed. And I tried to side b'd back anyway just because. GUESS FUCKING WHAT? MISFIRE FUCKING MISFIRE I recovered and won the match because of MISFIRE. Moral of the story? Luigi is extremely wack, and also play him.
