Those Sonic X episodes had one more detail Emile forgot to mention: Eggman's sun balls weren't just emitting sunlight; they were emitting subliminal waves that got people to adore him. Hey, Eggman did make it clear in an earlier episode that his chief goal is to establish the Eggman Empire, and that he didn't care which world he establishes it on (be it Earth or Mobius). Thus, his Egg Moon Eclipse scheme and Sun Ball business weren't for making money; they were purely for taking over the world and making everyone his slaves. This was just a more devious way of doing it.

Chugga, you're forgetting the best part of that sonic x episode. said artificial light is a path to make people hate sonic once he starts destroying the lights and it get Eggman elected president because the current one won't stop sonic. And it's not like eggman rallies to overthrow the government or whatever he, just straight up elected president (insert topical joke here) Said episode ends with his plan being foiled and the heroes catching him by forcing him to take a quiz that ends with a pan falling on his hand Sonic X was dumb but sometimes it was a really fun kind of dumb.

8:34 It's more than that you missing out the other part, the artificial lights are also slowly brainwashing everyone who has them, his goal was to be seen as a hero to the world only so he can take over leadership without question. In the process, Sonic would get suspicious/ figure out Eggman's hidden motives and start acting by destroying the satellites fueling the artificial lights, thus making him a public enemy. Of course the plan was not entirely fool proof as Rouge and her partner also caught wind of what was really happening.

That's another way how you avoid drag damage? I repeatedly pull my control stick the opposite way the Ghosts run, giving them slack and pulling again. I think Tim is keeping the control stick pulled away for too long that there are significant periods that the Ghosts take no damage and are able to drag him

7:27 Worse yet, the sunshine balls contained a hypnotic signal inside of them that told the people who bought them to hail Eggman as their hero. He then used this to gather support for himself essentially allowing him to weasel his way into becoming the ruler. Even worse than that, he staged everything so well, that Sonic (who knew that Eggman was tricking people and figured out that the moon couldn't naturally do what it did) when he went to go destroy the towers gathering energy from the rocket Eggman sent up to go get solar power from the other side of the moon's eclipse, it made Sonic look like the bad guy causing the military to go try and arrest him again. I find it incredible that Eggman developed a way to obtain solar power in the most efficient way possible (that would be very helpful to our society) just to use it for evil.

Not only does the Sealed Room have a speedy spirit that Tim missed, but it also had a golden mouse. The most annoying golden mouse in the game because it has a 20% chance of spawning every time you enter the room, and the only way into the sealed room is through the roof, so it's a long trek every time it doesn't show up. I also remember the episode of Sonic X in which Egg Man replaces half of the moon with machinery. It's really dumb, but a good kind of dumb.

So a thought I had while watching this episode, specifically watching Jon and Chugga yelling at Tim to get the hearts. So I'm friving with my siblings on a long trip, and we decide to stop at a kfc. They're reading the directions, and as they point to the turn I need to make off the highway, I kind of freeze. They're yelling at me to turn and I hear them but I just keep driving. And we end up going back but as my dad commented, yelling directions at someone when they're already focusing on all the things they need to in order to drive a car is not helpful. And sure playing a game doesn't put you on the same level of risk as driving a car but I think it's the same idea. I wouldn't blame Tim for missing things even if it's obvious, and as just a thought, it might not be all that helpful to yell things at the player. Plus there's the thing Chugga has mentioned on his channel, it's a lot easier for the viewer to see things than the player who's commentating. This was a pretty good episode for progress, 2 keys, a boss and a few rooms cleared. I just hope Tim waters all the plants on the balcony by the end of the game.

I actually liked Dark Moon a ton, and thought it was a highlight of the entire 3DS library. Honestly its my favorite Mario related game on the system. I agree with the main complaints about it, but tbh, that just meant I merely liked it around as much as the original instead of liking it even more than the original.

Dark Moon was okay, but it was too lengthy for me. A third of the missions had you find something, and a third of the missions had you get it back from the dog that took it. That game had more padding than an asylum.

If you think about it the first game was pretty much same way. 1st mission: Find Egad then go to his lab to get the vacuum. 2nd mission:beat portrait ghost, beat 1sr boss then back to lab. 3rd Mission: catch ghost, find boos, then back to the lab...the mansion was only slightly open because most the rooms are locked off and so rarely going back to past rooms is needed

I've actually laid down on my roof before, because my roof has a balcony to easily get on there. It's quite relaxing at night, but during the day, you can't be there for long, or else you'd get burns. One issue is that you need to have something on that gives you enough traction so that you don't start slipping down, but other than those, it's quite comfy.

Both the twins and soldiers have a designated ghost for the ranking. In this case it is the blue. I always remove the keys of all and capture the non blue ghost so the others wouldn’t interrupt me

As a hint, I recommend to tilt the control stick towards the closest corner. When luigi is at the corner, make sure you stay in that corner since it makes it easier to suck the ghost. Its one of the best methods to capture portrait ghosts. Its not always 100%, but its the only reliable method to get gold/platinum(If playing hidden mansion).

Interestingly, capturing the blue Clockwork Soldier will add the trio’s biography to the Game Boy Horror, even if the pink and green Clockwork Soldiers haven’t been captured yet. Sonic X is a really great anime! My favorite episode is Sonic’s Scream Test.

1:16 Nah, I'd say the blue one(which is also the only one that drops the pearls) is the hardest, since he'll always start between the other 2, so you can't just pick him off from an unprotected flank. 2:08 Its kind of scary that Tim almost did one of the most badass things possible in this game: Gold-framing Clockwork Soldiers, but not killing the blue one last. 2:23 I mean, he's in the middle of the 3, & his name clearly isn't Lavos, so I'd wager he's the leader. 3:22 Its nice...until its really loud, at 2 in the morning, while other people in your house are trying to sleep. Then it just gets very awkward.

Emile forgotten two things in the room: 1 being the Speedy Spirit and the other being the Golden Mouse. Also, I grew up watching Sonic X and watched it all. Was very much funny when Eggman broke the fourth wall by calling the show "Eggman X* and ended the saga with him getting arrested for thinking he's the coolest between him and Sonic.

God help you if you're doing all speedy spirits/golden mice, because the sealed room has both, and may possibly be the FURTHEST point from any save point in the mansion. So you have to reset if you fuck up the speedy spirit, and then make the trek from the save point all the way back to the sealed room. Further, you need to do that trip multiple times to see if the mouse spawns, THEN you get to attempt it. I remember watching Jirard 100% the 3DS version and it probably took him a dozen or so of those trips to get the golden mouse to spawn, it was really bad. (not as bad as some of the achievements in that game but oof)

Ha ha, very funny. The joke is that April 8th, 2020 is Emile's 30th birthday, the day before this video went up. Stumbling upon the sealed room with TONS OF TREASURE is as good a birthday present as any I would think, for both Emile AND Tim as their birthdays are surprisingly close together. Shout outs to Kirby and Bagel this episode, the Runaway Cats. And Teddy, Emile's other kitty, as well. Eh..... for a person who researched and LP'd this game, I'm still kinda disappointed in a lot of the misinformation Emile's been giving. The Twins and the Clockwork Soldiers were never in this so-called "last one standing gives the ranking" category. The blue Clockwork Soldier always gives the ranking and pearls, as does the twin on the airplane (Orville). In fact, the blue one moves slower and normally gets place in the center to hint at the fact that he's the only important one, and in the twins battle, you're naturally lead to attack the one on the car first (Henry) since he's the closer and more immediate threat.

People complain about the voice acting in Mario Advance? I always thought it was cool as a kid and it never seemed overbearing. Maybe for the cherries, but that doesn't seem like enough of an issue to complain about ruining the game. As far as I can recall, voice acting was only used whenever you selected a character, died, collected a powerup (which are much more scarce), and whenever a boss is introduced. I always thought it brought a lot more character to the otherwise bizarre bosses.
