Just for a bit of a clarification on how portraits work, area bosses count for more than normal portrait ghosts, points are as follows, and after this episode instead of displaying the indidivual numbers of medals, points will be there instead: bronze - silver - gold all portrait ghosts are 1 - 2 - 3 boss ghosts are as follows: Chaunsey 1 - 2 - 5 Bogmire 1 - 2 - 5 Boolossus 1 - 3 - 7 Van Gogh 1 - 2 - 4 King Boo 1 - 5 - 10

So a gold King Boo portrait counters 5 silver boss portraits (not counting Boolossus)

I remember when Luigi's Mansion originally released and I've beaten it over a dozen times. I point this out to say this: I never realised that the portrait frames were of greater or lesser quality depending on how well you fought the boss.

yeah, normal portraits change rank depending on how much of their hp you get in one go, area bosses change rank depending on how much hp you end on, its a cool little touch to add to replayability

I was pretty sure in the last episode, but now I'm positive; both screens are always playing audio. Whichever one has the audio icon is louder, yes; but both of them are always playing it. Is that intentional?

Yeah the audio mixing of speedrace was kind of an experiment, I wasnt sure if I wanted only the winner playing their audio or not. I believe the first episode has only one person’s audio playing, but when watching back the episode it felt a little weird, so I decided to make the loser have audio but just a lot quieter so if you’re watching the loser you can hear their audio (since you’re more tuned in) but if you’re watching the winner you shouldnt hear the loser’s audio. But idk what I’m gonna do for the next speedrace. I’ll probably leave it up to a poll.
