The difference Enrique will make is teaching players to make that “final pass” or when to make certain runs…. Most of these goals are teams goal squared across the box for open net tap ins…. If mudryk squared havertz in the Villa game on Saturday we would off been 1-0 up early on and the game would off been completely different, we had 28 shots and 0 goals because the players don’t know when to take the shot or when to play someone through to make scoring the goal more simple without sticking it in to the stand or straight at the keeper.

@@TheWarriorEmerged being a manager also includes coaching…. Coaching the players to play different styles and learn new things, therefor teaching them. Do you think messi never learned anything from guardiola? Do you think Ronaldo never learned anything for sir Alex? Lots of players come out and say they learn different things from each different coach in their career.

All of you saying it’s individual brilliance please tell me how many titles Barca won after Enrique left and how many MSN won without him especially the UCL either at Barca or at another club. It’s ok if he isn’t your first choice but give credit where it’s due

Xavi retired after the 14/15 season, iniesta fell off considerably but retired in 17/18 and Neymar left after 16/17, all integral parts of Enrique’s team. Barca struggled to replace all of them and the managers after that still kept winning la ligas until 19/20. They only really fell off in the CL, which you can blame due to the fact that they never got solid replacements for the players they lost. Even after Enrique left though they still won trophies so how much of the success is down to him, rather than individual brilliance? We saw how bad he did at the World Cup with Spain, and sure the squad was inexperienced but he makes the squad selection so that’s his fault. I’d rather have nagelsmann due to his achievements at hoffenheim and Leipzig, which are genuinely impressive. I still think Enrique is a fantastic manager and would be happy to have him at Chelsea, I just think nagelsmenn would be better.

Lots of the goal comes from open plays/fast break counter attacks. Yes Chelsea don't score those chances but its down to the player because they still manage to get players into those position under Potter. The thing is more than half the teams in EPL use an All out Defense + Counter attack tactic against Chelsea. They don't push forward and attack but rather sit back and let's Chelsea have all the possession. Its about getting the players to keep up movements to confuse the low block and allow overlapping runs against these teams. Against high press teams, there is not much issue as you can see against Liverpool, they still managed through balls and direct plays.

It really depends on the manager, it's the managers style of play and tactics, that make players brave enough to attempt such play. U won't see 5 or 6 players in the opposition box , passing among themselves, trying to score a goal if u are playing under a defensive minded manager.

(a) This is Arsenal's 4th season under Arteta (b) Remember Pep's 1st season with city? Good results with possession based football takes at least 12-15 months to deliver. Some fans will learn this the hard way I'm sure. If Enrique comes, expect nothing special until mid-2024. After a horrendous season like this, I can't see our fans having the patience to bear another one. Enrique ≠ quick-fix manager. Hence, not my preferred option. Despite agreeing he's class! More importantly, for the longer project, there is no guarantee that Enrique would be interested to stay beyond 3 season. I think Enrique gives us 1 season of utter dominance & big trophies (that won't be S01) But Naglesmann win equivalent trophies in a longer run(starting from S01)

People are so delusional, thinking Enrique isn't good enough becoz he has MSN. What has happened to psg that had the best players in the biggest football stage the world cup. Then you understand that a manager has a role to play. You give him the necessary material, as a good manager, he should make full use of it. Since Neymar left Enrique, what has been his fate?? Not a Chelsea fan though, but I believe Enrique should be a good coach. And also, club football is different from national football.

Yeah. It's not easy coaching a national team cos you'll have to use what you have at your disposal without having to break the bank. Spain's national team consist of young promising talents still trying to gain experience at the top level. In my opinion, Enrique is doing a good job 👏👏
