Very happy as a mets fan , big bro power really took a bump very close to this point in his own development. Keep in mind the covid year so give baby bro a year of grace

He seems to have a pretty good swing and he stands in there pretty well... I like to see him handle second base and see how he handles the double play he looks like a pretty good young player

His stance looks like Ronald's but I think he brings his hands back while loading more than Ronald does

Yeah he's a little bit smaller than Ronald so that makes sense. He needs to load up a bit more than Ronald.

He's a good prospect, but the Mets now have four SS prospects. It would have been nice to see if they could have gotten an outfielder or a pitcher

He can play second

I think it’s best to focus on the primary positions where you have the most talented guys like a SS, CF and then move guys around according to need the best fit for the Mets is Lindor SS, Acuna 2B, Mauricio 3rd, Baty 1B, Parada C, Alvarez DH, Vientos LF Gilbert Cf, Clifford RF
@MrAschiff Жыл бұрын
@@danielhunter6059 Baty at first? We do have a guy named Pete Alonso who has three thirty home run seasons and is the only Met to hit 53 homers and have the club record for most RBI in a single season. They're not getting rid of Alonso.
@mikeyredfl3976 Жыл бұрын
The Mets seem to be accumulating players at positions that are already blocked for prospects 1B SS 2B 3B and C. They need corner outfielders and pitchers where they have NOTHING.

That usually means more trades are coming.

@@cd.cd.cd.cd-cd Dude so why would they even have a minor league to gauge a players talent ? Sure a lot of the time guys don’t pan out it’s not an exact science and there’s many factors but at the end of the day a prospect is a potential future major leaguer majority of the time if a guy ranks this high people who know much more than you say he’s good and has major league potential. When was the last time a teams #2 prospect didn’t make a major league appearance at this point in their career ? As a 21 year old in AA hitting .311 ? If he was still 18 or just off the international signing period I’d be more skeptical but he’s been in the minors for long enough we can say he hits and his game just has to translate he will be in the major leagues once we figure out that McNeil ain’t it
@danielhunter6059 Жыл бұрын
@@cd.cd.cd.cd-cd and I heard about him when he signed because of his brother and he’s performed well since then for me to say he’s his own player being excited bout this trade has nothing to do with his brother the kid is talented for sure
@cd.cd.cd.cd-cd Жыл бұрын
@@danielhunter6059 well you're an anomaly its unlikely most of the fans excited have seen him play, the excitement is largely centered around who his brother is (even if subconsciously)

If they thought this guy is such a sure fire star they wouldn't have let him go. A lot of hype. Seen this before with most suspects correction prospects.
