I'm a weightlifting fitness addict, and time to time again I do like to get back in the groove. but you sir are a twisted metal god lol, I have never once been though an entire tournament in any one of the twisted metals on the hardest difficulty and not lost one life. that's incredible!!! I actually enjoyed every twisted metal Individually. 3 and 4 didn’t jade me to the series because I had already played the first and second installment. There were things I did like about this sweet tooth and I kinda liked his special in 3. 4 was overkill. Well engineered but an absolute disaster playing against unless you continuously spam the hyperspace. The special in 3 worked like a remote bomb and can actually become an art if you’re able to time things correctly. Especially since it could go through walls. Of course his rather critical and rather devastating downfall was how narrow his truck was it kind made him get ‘teased’ on the battle ground because the other drivers would purposefully knock you over and then back up and drive away. Though on the harder difficulties they’d destroy you. Though it was nice that David jaffe’s team came back for small brawl and into the final one on the PS3. These ones gave you just enough juice to wait for black.

And you're dead on the money about that. I was just playing Twisted Metal 2 as Sweet Tooth and I was doing that ricochet trick, but then grasshopper screwed it all up and I had to leave. I was looking for a health and jumped off the ramp to get one. You know what happens next? Sweet Tooth rolls and rolls and rolls for no reason and doesn't stop until he falls off the edge and dies. I raged.

@TrainBoy7 yeah why did people complain about Twisted Metal 3 just as awesome as the first 2 games except not develeped by SingleTrac but develeped by 989 Studios. And i had no problem with the game at all i enjoyed it very much and i loved it. I also like twisted metal 4 as well graphics were a little bit better sounds a bit better and has Rob Zombie as a Playable charecter. I own Twisted Metal 3 N 4 Original Black Label Non Greatest Hits.

The game has a nostalgic factor to me. That's why. I wanted to try to remember it by watching one of the playthrus and totally forgot about the gameplay and endings. Some of it was vaguely familiar, but the music was what made the game better. Which is why I don't understand why he took it out. Oh well... I exaggerate with my comments sometimes. Don't worry. He'll never read it.

***** Cars do flip upside down. Physics is excellent. About freeze. There is something to think about but there is no shield instead. Little ram damage real fault but not that big to complain at it. Real rocket would like destroy real kar while thre at list 5 rocket shoud be received to get weakest car destroyed. It's game, not a simulator. Even car simulators havent real physics in this question.

Uh no... this game is terrible. TM4 was terrible too, but it at least got rid of the stupid "realistic driving physics" that the new developer thought would be a good idea (hopefully whoever came up with that idea was fired after this game came out). TM4 at least brought back the faster paced, tighter handling / controls, and got rid of the stupid cars flipping over BS that plagued this game. They also *tried* to bring back the same unique character and charm of the first two games, unlike TM3 which honestly just looked and felt like a bad Gran Turismo clone with TM characters and shit levels plugged into it. Just felt and looked *nothing* like Twisted Metal at all. No awesome rock guitar soundtrack with awesome solos and whatnot, no whacky-yet-twisted humour to the levels and gameplay, and it just didn't have the same grungy, "balls to the wall" attitude to it. It just felt generic, bland, and without soul. TM: Black was great, in that it brought back the awesome, memorable character stories, great handling & physics, etc. But it went *TOO* dark and gloomy in the art style, IMO. TM was never about "look how dark and gloomy we can be, like a horror movie with cars!", it was about high-octane, fast-paced destruction with a great rock soundtrack and a twisted sense of humour. But still, as a game, TM: Black was fun to play. TM: Head On got almost everything right, though. It brought the graphic fidelity of TM: Black, along with the heart and soul of TM1 and TM2: that high-octane, fast paced action and rock n' roll attitude. And most importantly, it brought back unique level design with real-world locations, and secrets / hidden pathways built into the levels to encourage exploring and whatnot. It really felt like the *TRUE* successor to TM2; what SHOULD have followed TM2 instead of TM3 and TM4. It honestly should have been TM3, and then following that should have been TM: Black. I really hope we get a modern, HD (or UHD / 4K, since that's on the horizon now) version of TM2 / TM: Head On, where they bring back all the characters from the first two games, all the levels (just updated graphically, obviously, and re-imagined a bit) or rather the locations (Paris, Tokyo, etc.) mixed in with new ones and new characters, and bring back the same character and soul of TM2: that classic 90's rock / high-octane fun & twisted sense of humour. TM on PS3 was boring, and didn't feel at all like a TM game. It just felt like a generic "beat-em-up" type game but with cars. I mean, you even fly around in a helicopter at one point, and you face off against a giant doll-thing... like, really? Ugh...

Fyrecide Twisted metal ps3 has the best physics though.. In all honesty twisted metal 2 sucks ass , the physics are fucking awfull . Head on is near perfect . If Twisted metal 2012 had Head ons levels , all the original cars from 1-2 ( we were missing thumper, slam , yellow jacket , hammer head , grasshopper, specter ) and Head ons AI it would be perfect . TM 2012 #1 issue was it's AI that was programmed to only target you . They don't fight eachother what's so ever

I remember playing this game and it was horrible, I didn't know that many programmers of the original TM series died in a plane crash, so Single Trac couldn't develop the game and was passed to 989 and that's why it was so different/bad.
