Twisted Metal 2 Grasshopper Tournament Playthrough HD

The worst special in the game. This is my least favorite car because it's a lightweight with a weak special that puts you right in front of an enemy and you don't want to be in front of Mr. Slam and Thumper. The special stops when Grasshopper is hit. It needs to be combined with other weapons to deal more damage. I was really caution in Hong Kong after getting a clutch win in Holland.

9:35 if you lay a remote mine on the very center of this level; someone will eventually run into it & it blows up all 4 of the bridges & gives you 4 extra weapons where the bridges used to go

I can also see how the special would be a bad idea against Shadow. A friend would be especially dangerous if they had the knowledge to detonate the special while their opponent is airborne. You'd be leaping at your friend playing Shadow when they do their special and do a ton of damage if you're not shielded while doing so.

in Head-On, her special is more accurate and on-target. But, her health is very limited unless she completes the first mini-game: destroy all the taxi cabs to unlock an extra life. It's also very hard-if not impossible to beat Tower Tooth because he doesn't treat her with respect (like I want him to.)

Grasshopper's special was always intended to be combined with a remote bomb for massive damage. When the special hits, its target gets slightly in the air which causes double damage from the remote bomb. Clever design by Single Track. Combine special wepons with normal ones for damage. This is the beauty of TM2 which was carried over to TM3.

The other day, I was attempting a no death run with Grasshopper, it was a great run until I got to Dark Tooth. I managed to store four remote bombs before I fought him, when I did the leap n slam combo with the remote bomb on Dark Tooth my shield didn't come on and I basically suicided myself trying to kill him, I was so pissed! Why didn't my shield come on !!!

TheTWISTEDCREECH96 her special in itself is suicide. Seeing as she has a match of armor stat with Mr. Grimm she’s literally a death trap on levels like big leap and Antarctica. Essentially a roll of the dice with that special. Well to be honest. Her car/character conflicts with my mind because Pit Viper from TM1 has the exact same car just a different color and of course brighter and tighter graphics and handling. I like that it was calypsos daughter and seeing as how she’s a robot sent to destroy her father it only makes sense to have a kamikaze special. Though it could have used more creativity.

I just beat the game with all of the standard characters on Hard and I must say Grasshopper's was by far THE MOST brutal and agonizing of them all. Maybe I'm I just don't know how to play with her; guess I'll find out after watching this video

Grasshopper is the worst character because every time you used her special weapon after enemy going down below you’ll eventually die with the enemy. However I did fooling around with her with or without the god mode with many deaths. It’s still a fun way to play on twisted metal.

Yep. Grasshopper's special launches the opponent slightly in the air which makes the remote bomb deal double damage by TM2 rules. That's why Grasshopper has the "weakest" stats. People forget that since TM2 there are hidden stats like Special Weapon recharge rate, Special Weapon max capacity.

Would’ve, but there was the small issue that Darkside was actually intended to be playable, it’s driver would’ve been an old woman named Granny Dark(supposedly, she was the only cut driver, and Darkside was the only cut vehicle that is known), Darkside, alongside its driver were both cut for unknown reasons

Best vehicle in the game! Which vehicle will give you the opportunity to do this - 1:28 ??? The car itself is basically a homing remote, napalm or whatever you want it to be as long as you have a shield you can take them out in 1 second!

It's not a low tier car. Sure it requires skill but it can destroy almost everyone with special+shield+remote bomb combo. While in special she is the fastest character in the game.

I'd say GH is the least redeemable vehicle next to Outlaw in TM2. Their specials are severely weak and they lack armor or maneuverability to really compensate for it. There's just better options for lightweight vehicles.

You wouldn't want Outlaw 2's special to deal more damage because the special makes you go up in the air.

As far as overall effectiveness goes though, it's not worth much. Temporarily making an opponent bounce off the ground doesn't serve much purpose unless you're sending them over the edge/level hazard. Something just easily done with a ricochet bomb.

It's either the weapons from your inventory or Minion's special from the advance attack bar. The best weapon to use is the remote bomb with a shield.

Okay, I don't know why but grasshopper was the most fun for me to play, enemy shoots? Just jump over it, use everything else to kill😅 never got through the game though and just played on medium. I never liked the fact that you only could play through on hard. Nowadays I must say, it makes sense

You’re nuts. Twister is a beast on wheels when you know how to use her properly. Her special is mad damaging and recharges quick as hell. Makes it easy to kill 3 opponents at once if you use shield, special, and napalm. Twister and Slam are the only characters I’ve no deathed with on hard.
