Soberbia interpretación. La que más se ajusta, a mi modo de ver, de todas las que he oído, al sentido de esta pieza y a la sensibilidad que puso en ella Jobim.

You are a wonderful pianist….how do you learn and memorize so many songs? Do you do it entirely from listening? Or do you use sheet music or lead sheets?
@Masteryamani2 жыл бұрын
I only use sheet music when the theme was written for a pianist composer and exists the original piano sheet (example Chopin, Jarret, Corea). The 99% that I play is not music for piano, these are ballads, boleros, simphonic, soundtracks, Beatles, etc. I make my own versions listening the original or another version, sometimes copy the same arrangement from some version. Here, in this theme I listened to two versions from two different pianist (man and woman) because I didn't know it. When I listened the original from Jobim, it was hard of understand with the lyrics then i listened the piano versions and i was able to learn the theme. When I listen to music I listen many things, i can listening the two hands apart in my mind and then learn how to play it. I have a good memory but the main thing is that I studied a lot of music! Regards!
