I tell you, Luka's passes are state of the art! And I always get a kick out of it when the crowd oohs and aahs when he does something spectacular---especially when he's on the road team.
@charles224111 ай бұрын
I watch the highlights, and the vast majority of the time, when they're visiting, the crowd is doing that with his every score, even the very routine layups. He had like three nasty shots in this game, including two teardrop hits. I think the deal is, even with the routine stuff, is that he usually has to make some move most other players can't get away with, even if the final shot is easy. They're not just impressed with the shot going in, but what he does to make it easy, and, of course, if it's a miracle shot.
@alanberg557511 ай бұрын
@@charles2241 I disagree that they ooh and aah at his every score. Are you telling me that their response to his no look pass to Hardaway in the corner wasn't A LOT more audible? Also, I feel that you're being critical of Luka's game. What makes you think he gets away with stuff others don't? I haven't heard about his opponents complaining about that. The long and short of it is that he's a generational talent, AND hasn't even reached his prime yet.
@charles224111 ай бұрын
@@alanberg5575 I didn't say the more fantastic plays from Luka don't get MORE audible, I'm just saying it's going on all the time. Go ahead, listen for yourself. Maybe they're less in awe, than disappointed in their defense, but they're doing it nonetheless. It's like realizing he's the best in the NBA, and you just can't help it, but you want to win anyway. When I said he gets away with what others can't, I mean like routinely taking on two or more guys on the way to an easy layup, and they just can't stop him. IOW, if you beat one guy for an easy layup, that's not as impressive. Sometimes it's about what led to the easy layup, not the score. BTW, I had a number of examples to show you, but somehow I saw a Gafford dunk in the wrong place, and just thought that screwed things up so bad (and wasn't worth correcting), I'd be better off just deleting all that portion.

Embiid jokic and Luka are hands down the best 3 in the nba (there is no question) but Luka is the best out of the 3. More assists and ppg than jokic and close to just as many rebounds. Right now the nba has so many guys with insane offensive ceilings. All 4 of the other guys on the floor have their lives made so much easier just from one guy that can take on an enormous offensive load. Jokic, Luka, Hali, Steph, Embiid, LeBron sometimes, Dame sometimes, Mitchell sometimes.
