Footwork comes from playing soccer. I had a high school friend who played football so well (soccer for the yanks) , he played like Messi to me (similar ball dribbling skill with foot), and oh boy how he schooled "us" (who played high school basketball) and were much taller than him. We were perplexed how he got to the basket and weaved through us. Now i see Luka, who has similar footwork and played a lot of football + basketball. Deadly combo. Similar to Steve Nash.

That’s what I like to call the Dirk special. I remember seeing Dirk do this all the time every time posting up creating a double this is what made The mavs special. u had no choice but to double dirk every time and he would always pass out to terry,kidd ,Harris and Marion at times made his 3s . There’s nothing wrong with playing bully ball more n finding the open mad when they double. Lukas a better passer the dirk so it shouldn’t be hard for him to make the right pass
