I dont get this trade, unless dallas think that luka's injuries arent temporary. Any focus on luca & lebron is basically irrelevant. Luka in LA is presumably there to be the next franchise superstar. LA's biggest issue of recent has been defence, so ditching AD for someone who's biggest shortcoming is defence (and is having a injury plagued season) makes me suspect this season is a write off.

The Lakers are way better now and for the future. I feel like the lakers pulled off a highway robbery with this trade. Maxi Kleber plays defense and shoots 3's consistently. He is 3 and D type player!! He is not AD but he will make our offense unstoppable. We all forget that AR15 is still here too.

They had no big man and Anthony Davis had been begging for them to bring in at five so he could move to the 4. So this cripples any chances of them winning currently but getting Luca solidifies their superstar for the future.

@ bro Luka been hurt all year long. He’s hurt RIGHT NOW. Lakers have no “bigs” now. This definitely cripples them. I’m sure they aren’t done making moves but without a big man they are in trouble. Luka was successful in Dallas because they have a plethora of athletic BIGS. Plus now AD. Dallas is probably going back to finals if they can get past OKC. Lakers still have some building to do around Luca and LeBron
