@@swish1457 If the Mavs get the 4th or 5th seed in a historically strong Western conference there's no reason why Luka shouldn't be MVP. Mavs have had more injuries than any of the teams above them by a fair margin. They're currently 12-0 with Luka and Gafford both playing post trade. Westbrook and Jokic both won MVPs as lower seeds with worse win %s than Luka has currently.

If luka ends the season with a stat line of 34/10/9 and doesn’t win the mvp it’s going to criminal. That stat line has never been done before in nba history. Luka is generating the most points from assists and scoring in nba history. Luka leads in scoring, 2nd in assist and will win the scoring title. Luka had the most efficient high scoring game in history. He obliterated the consecutive 35+ triple double record. The bar is so high for luka it’s ridiculous. They said he needs more wins and not to be a play in which he has and they move the goalposts further. At this point they are just conspiring not to give it to him. Years down the line peopl are going to look back at this season and think how stupid we were not to crown this man if he doesn’t win mvp.

Why always the MVP has to be from top 2 teams in the conference. This season Luka and SGA have the best stat line and the best case. Jokic generates not the points to be MVP this season. For me its Luka by far this season. Player of the month could also be easily Kyrie this month. The two are the most fun to watch Guard duo I have ever seen.

Media is allowed to gamble on games and futures such as MVP. Most Media members who have a vote probably didn't pick Doncic. Its def a double standard when there vote can impact there bet. Also, if your white or European, you are at a disadvantage with the western Media. Just ask Mark Jackson who had a vote last year and didn't have Jokic in his top 5.

what people that havent been to the basement at the AA center dont know is that Luka can not only kick balls into the hoop from full court or do behind the back shots from half court he can monster slam dunk as well. He rarely does it because like most euro's they believe it wastes energy and is a poser move when a lay-up and turn around to play defense is what coaches at all levels teach. l taught motorcross classes to kids and stressed to them that flying thru the air doing cross-ups is cool but staying stuck to the dirt is faster and safer. Same thing here in B ball.
