force him to the area when he cant do his normal step backs. also if hes a right handed chances are he drives hesi to the right then step backs on left foot. force him to go to the right if you knew thats his go to move im pretty sure the next move he does is behind the back to the left or simple crossover to left once you bait him to do his go to move just simply load the springs so you could face him up while doing the step back. it doesnt necessarily mean you have to block it. anticipating his last move would make him think twice to shoot it unless he is a lot taller just try to cover his face while shooting😂

I suggest you can lower your set point and add a dip to your shot but once you can gain more strength you can higher you’re set point

Gabe Bower what I try to do is bend a little bit lower and shoot. I go like really close to the hoop and shoot with one hand to get that form down. My jump shot was broke for a long time and then I got better. After I get one hand down I will move a little further from the hoop and shoot with two hands. After I get comfortable with it(which might take couple days or so) move further. And continue doing that. You can also do workouts to help your strength. I was actually planning on making a video on that but yeah there you have it

Thanks to you I've been deadly from stepback to the 3 line at school as this one guy in my year and he's 6'5 as I'm 5'10 it's a challenge 24/7 as I'm also strong to be finishing to the rim (Also close to dunking) and a PEST on the defensive side as we are compared on the offense (due to my wingspan is a hella long) plus I'm fast

You will fuk up your knees and ankles if you heavy plant that leg for the step back. UNLESS you train your feet and ankles properly and be glut dominant.
