It’s Luka’s team, he’s the best player, and of course, he’s gonna get most of the blame. The balls are in his hands most of the time. Kyrie is a second option for a reason. Every team’s number 1 option gets the same criticism when they lose in this fashion. Shai thoroughly outplayed Luka so far in this series, his number 2 Chet couldn’t get anything going all game so Shai just took over. Shai could not miss, not much you can do about that, I know how the Suns feel now when Luka went dummy on them. We need Luka to be Luka. If he’s not then this series is over because Shai can take over when it gets close and no one on the Mavs can guard him one on one. If the Mavs double him, that’s an open 3 pointer for OKC.

I never thought I'd live to see a day the Mavs would have to try and win _despite_ Luka. It's not just the injuries, his confidence looks shattered at this point, he even seemed to try and make himself unavailable to get the ball at times. And boy, dribbling into your own foot as one of your 7 TOs looks damn ugly. Dallas basically lost to themselves through Shai's consistency after leading the whole game. Outrebounded, closed in on D and shot pretty well except when it mattered. Thunder won maybe their worst game of the season to tie the series, it will be very hard for the Mavs to bounce back from this, specially with no angry Playoff Luka going beserk. Props to PJ and the role players in general. Hell, even THJ did his job with that 3 in the end. This one is on Luka and Kyrie. Hero ball attempts at the end made me legit sad.

This is going simmilar as with the Clippers series , but I dont understand what happened tonight, Dallas missed a lot free throws, lot of turnovers. Weird game, I didnt expect it.

Yup sold hard. Now the pressure is on us to win game 5. And this might not go the same way as clips series from this point on. At least with the clips, you can count on either Harden and PG or both of them playing bad. But this time SGA is just relentlessly having his way. He's been the best player this series. Now I dont like our chances winning this series.

Everytime they got a decent lead he either bricked or turnover so no momentum could be built around the lead. Game had all the potential to be a blowout. OKC shot and played awful for 30 minutes. By then it should be 25+

Not an excuse as Mavs lost the game themselves but what the F were those 2 back-to-back no-calls with 1 minute to go with the refs standing right next to the play? The double-dribble led to a free dunk and the steal by Dort on the other end the next possession where he had half his foot out of bounds with a ref looking at him from 3 feet away. I just wanna know how the hell that happens in the best league in the world
