well to be one of the most complete his running pace had to be a lot stronger. Still i really like this type of players that become extinct. he's always thinking two steps ahead an had an incredible pass. But Zidane is on another level: scored a lot more. Could outrun an opponent with the ball glued to his feet. and his first ballcontacts in which he controlled the ball were beter; while hiss passing and insights of the game were on absolute top level. Modric looks very much like Andrea Pirlo. assets to the game and a joy to watch .

His defensive work, agressivness, chasing the ball, intelligence in intercepting the ball (he did it 3 times last night in 15 minutes), calming the ball even in his own box, never losing it, giving passes that nobody would think of, his courage in decisions and then effectivness and correctness is the icing on the cake that, for me, really sets him on a higher level then any midfielder in history of the crazy game.

Real has to pull Modric in for last 15 minutes, cuz they are not capable to win or draw match, against City down 3:2 playing badly - Luka comes in takes the game, calm it down for both teams and Real scores for 3:3... The same thing happened against Bayern, losing 2:1 Bayern Attacking, Luka comes in takes the left side, first he sends Vini the perfect ball, than he played tight defense, when the penalty was drawn and scored, Real could of won the game... Boksic gave a great argument for Juventus to go for Modric, cuz he would elevate the Juve game and he would teach Juve mids for future games
