We don’t realize it... but only our parents knew we we’re growing.. we grow up learn,graduate,have a boy/girl,get a job,probably get dumped and..have our own family’s and teachers show u this stuff which makes me wonder.. what will it be like in the future i get so scared and feel I don’t need to grow I NEED TO STAY YOUNG! To all who doesn't understand the song, here is the meaning. It is mostly about a boy who never had dream, his parents told him what he had to do since it wasn't clear to him. But as he grew older, he soon realized what life was meant to be, it all about making something possible. When he grew older people knew him because of who he is, and his children respected him for what he did. He wanted to become something(that is why his parents weren't mentioned in the further parts of the song, because he was being supported). So it mostly about, setting to your goal because there is always time to do it. Sorry for wasting your time...
