We lost a daughter, sister, aunt to her neices, early this year. Tonight my youngest called me to tell me she was sad and missing her sister, especially since she was wrapping Christmas presents. We talked and shared memories for a while. At the end of our video call, this song came on at my daughters place. She sent a link to me to listen to it and view the video. I never thought I'd be in the same place as a gifted young songwriter/singer but I am more and more with Lukas. When his hit LP came out about losing his Father, I was spending my days and nights watching my beautiful, brilliant, and gifted 32 year old daughter die. This song hits so close to home. I was 12 when my dad passed away (it's been 11 years now). The pain lessens but never goes away, the memories are faded but remain till this day.
