modern day newgrounds is the place to go to make new creative friends. people with barely any followers or recognition (like me) are always making community posts looking for collaborators and all you gotta do is find one you think is up your alley of talent. it could be music, voice acting, animation, or anything really. or make your own community post. sometimes you'll end up meeting people who will add you on discord and then if you guys become friends, theyll invite you to servers and you can just network through there. its basically how all of these guys did it 15 years ago but with skype.

These big expos have a lot of speakers, but only so many rooms. They likely only had a 20-30 minute time slot, and a lot of that time is taken up by people entering and leaving the room.
