It's a very slightly updated Soviet missile, and the Soviet's stole the entire design from the US. Way back in 1970. I wish more people weren't prone to cartoon panics. It's morbidly hilarious, but it stops them from being able to see what's right in front of them.

I don’t know how far back the original gun design went but it’s no less deadly now. Well the same exists with these weapons just because they were designed in the 60s doesn’t mean they’re not going to kill you or they get less deadly over time or that you shouldn’t hold them with a healthy dose of respect for what they can do. The truth is that 1960s era ICBM’s can still overwhelm the very latest anti-missile systems that we have today.

Saying "Russia is gas station with nukes"... now its running out of gas.
@ToeCutter454
@ToeCutter454 21 күн бұрын
you do know that most of the methane and natural gas that's ending up in the atmosphere is from all the permafrost in Russia thawing out and creating massive sinkholes right? there's more natural gas in Russia than probably the rest of the world combined... they're not running out of anything rather being forced off the European market hence why they bombed Nordstream pipeline... Burisma was working on making Ukraine the sole provider of natural gas to Europe, back in 2009(and a few years prior) Ukraine was stealing/skimming gas from it's pipelines that Russia was sending gas to Europe through and paying a transit fee of ~80$/ whatever thousand cubic meter unit it was and Ukraine thought it would be smart and clever and start tacking on it's own fees and jacked the price of that gas going into Europe on their end by almost ~$50 a unit at it's peak... Ukraine was scamming Europeans out of cheap natural gas from Russia and stealing from Russia... go do some research!

Was it really an accident? Maybe Lukashenko finally realized that if Russia takes Ukraine, Belarus is next. Russia already has a planning document outlining this, with tentative dates! Once Russia took Belarus, there’s no longer a need for Lukashenko. So, maybe Lukashenko now wants Ukraine to exist without outright endorsing them. So, he “inadvertently” provides them with some strategic information.

Oreshnik is total BS. It is a downgraded 2-stage variant of the 3-stage RS-24 ICBM. It has been flight tested 12 years ago with an extra light payload to make believe it was just above the 5500km range upper limit of the INF treaty, and thus falsely appear as not violating the treaty. It can obviously be fitted with multiple nuclear warheads, but Putin is trying to use it as an « invincible » threat with inert (as in Dnipro) or conventional explosive warheads (which most likely do not exist yet…) This missile provides for spectacular images of reentry (just as any other long range ballistic missile !!!) but is totally worthless in terms of military efficiency unless equipped with nuclear warheads. It’s accuracy is in the 300 to 500m radius at the very best, which means s totally ineffective and useless against any target other than randomly bombing a large city’s civilian population, and even so it would produce very limited damage. So indeed this is pure empty bluff and « hypersonic » BS, which the dumb incompetent media and their mostly incompetent military and aerospace « experts » repeats and inflate idiotically. This is pathetic idiocy, incompetence and cowardice at their best.

If you want peace remember the 5 golden rules: 1.- Treat others like you would like to be treated. 2.- Never poke the Russian bear. 3.- It may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be America's friend is fatal. 4.- If 2 countries are at peace and suddenly there's war between them, know that the UK and the USA visited them. 5.- When you're in a whole, stop digging. Everyone needs to frame this or make it into a T-shirt and treat it like the 10 commandments, so the world does NOT go the way of the dodo.
