Thank you Mr. Paul after a long search to understand the word of God..I found you. You continue to cement my faith and depend my understanding allowing me to stand up and contiue to put one foot forward after the other, after life due to my own mistakes own poor decision inspired not by God..Thank you sir...from a tiny island called the Seychelles...on the other side of the word from you

Thank God for the blood of the Lamb, that was shed at the wooden Cross at Calvary. Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Unlike the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, that literally washes our Sins away. In the old testament, the blood of animals could only cover a sinner sins for a time. Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no "remission"-(forgiveness). Ephesians 1:7 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood....... (aligns with Numbers 20:10-13/John 19:33-34/John 13:3-11) The Blood of animals only covered one's sins for a time in the Old Testament, however in the New Testament, the Blood of the Lamb literally washes, not covers, but washes one's sins away permanently. Now concerning "our" righteousness. The Lord Jesus himself is our righteousness through Faith, God imputes and clothes us in the righteousness of the his Son. The moment we were saved and baptized into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit, hence making us new creatures "in" Christ Jesus. This is why when the Father looks at you in glory, he does not see your righteousness, but he sees you clothed in the righteousness of his Son Jesus, for you are a new creature in his Son. 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit-(H.G) are we all baptized "into" one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to "drink"-(of the waters of Life) "into" one Spirit-(Jesus).... (aligns with Rev. 22:17/John 4:14) 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God "IN" him. Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation-(Jesus), he hath covered-(baptized/clothed) me with the robe-(Jesus) of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. I added the (subheads) for clarity sake. When a Sinner humbles himself, repents and believes the Gospel message, He is immediately washed clean of his sins in the Lord's precious shed blood, and is baptized/clothed in him through the New Birth, at the moment of salvation.
