BIG correction is needed @34:35 - Luke got his dates mixed up. We went off the "Gold Standard" in 1933 under with HJR 192, long before 1971. In 1971, Nixon ended the Bretton Woods system of fixing of the price of gold to $35 = 1 ounce of gold. If you go online and do a google image search of "Gold Certificate", have a look at old (pre-1933) paper money. Also, pre-1933 there were GOLD $20, $10, $5 and $2.5 coins in circulation. And our paper money had printed on it "Will pay to the bearer on demand $nnn in GOLD COIN". After 1933 this went away. NOT 1971.
@InfiniteCuriousity Жыл бұрын
Thanks for having Luke on, but honestly, it was a bit hard to watch. My genuine feedback, if interested: The constant interruptions/interjections made it hard to hear sometimes and it occasionally interrupted Luke’s train of thought. Also, several times ya’ll started talking about some topic only for you to refuse to go down further into that point, this was very unsatisfying for the listener, and imo, should have been edited out. Finally, additive convos are much better than arguments; approaching the convo with humility and curiosity is essential, a lot of people tuned in to hear Luke share his perspective, not to witness a red vs blue argument.
@growwithkare Жыл бұрын
This!! I second all of this! This was my first time coming across the channel and video. Instantly captivated by the whole setup, loved how it seemed just like two buddies about to talk. Was SUPER intrigued by Luke, the guest. Never heard of him before but became an instant fan. All was well and good and I enjoyed the interviewers comments until it started to become VERY interruptive, and defensive almost ? Interviewer seems like a great guy and hopefully they can have another episode where he lets the guest speak freely . Being more open minded would also have helped dive deeper into convos

Luke is smart, and I love listening to him, but if every interview we're just gonna hear him talk and the interviewer agreeing with everything he says what is the point??? Luke himself always says, do your own research and don't just listen mindlessly and take every information you hear as a fact. This way we get to see lukes point in a deeper level when he elaborate, and we get to see a counter argument from the interviewer so WE CAN FOURM OUR OWN OPINIONS ABOUT THE MATTERS! It is the same with Andrew, I respect the guy but I feel people online are taking his word as a holy book. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH, do not just take anything you hear and run with it. Not talking just about the educational system (I'm not american so I can't really comment yours), but Education with a big E. Helping Humans acquire basic skills that will help them develop as thinking beings; not enslaving them. Things like how to use logic thinking, how to learn by yourself, how to adapt to novelty, the importance of conscious learning, and understanding the impact of one's actions on the rest of society (aka how to give a fuck about others and not just yourself).

Amazing information. Keep it up gentlemen. When I was 18 I was scared shitless out of HS,confused, depressed worst time of my life fast forward to 21 and I’m on track to make my first 10k month next month off the internet. Wild fuckin ride. The entire journey has been possible because of people like you. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. The world is truly better because of y’all.

Nice acknowledgment of how back in the day we did not have raw deliberate information at our fingertips. It was far more challenging to reach outside of the matrix and try to make sense of how “life” was this sabotaging endless cycle of impossibles. Luke is a boss at gracefully acknowledging someone’s point while simultaneously spitting facts. Cannot get enough of his wisdom. 💜🌺

Luke I love when you're real like in this podcast. I wish you guys went deeper into the truth sometimes. I watch your Capital Club videos but I still wish you talked more about the details. Regardless, loved listening to the conversation.

Hey brother! I would say to experience life yourself. Videos are great but can only take you so far. Live with discipline. I assume you have family, those should be the closest people in your life. Put God first and look for people with the spirit. Speak your mind, validate yourself, ask questions, and get involved. You got it bro! Everything will be okay.
