He....didn't do the song any justice at all. It's surprising that Luke Bryan is such a terrible singer that Hetfield's range makes Bryan's seem exceedingly limited. P.S. Bryan's pathetic vibrato doesn't make him a decent singer.

i saw him perform this song probably that same year, before he was the big deal he is today, i thought it was incredible because i wasnt a big country fan my now wife is, and she drug me out to the first annual rib round up that year at the cruzean amphitheater in West Palm Beachand i was pleased to hear a song from my collection.

He did this at Skyblast at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA in Sept of 2010. The crowd was unprepared for it to say the least. We had two 18 year old girls from ythe inner city with us, no way did they like country music. Needless to say, he and the guitarist turned their opinion around by inserting "Enter Sandman". If PNC Park had a roof on at the end of that song, it would have blown off, the crowd went nuts!

@Eng3CFD Metallica well old Metallica is Thrash Metal. Rock is not the same thing as metal. Just like Punk music is not the same thing as metal. But meh at this rate I'm just waiting from some country singer to play Morbid Angel, or Venom . They need to stay 1000 feet away from the Extreme side of metal. Country music dose not need to be playing cover songs of Thrash, Black, Death, or Doom. And out side of Thrash there is a reason you don't hear Black, Death and Doom metal played on the raido.
