I heard Chris play "Whiskey and You" and fell in love with the guy's music. I don't like Luke Bryan's but love this one song..."Drink a Beer" makes me tear up every time I hear it...One of my best friends passed away close to two months ago and this song was played at a celebration of life service at my old high school...Chris Stapleton is the man, he writes such incredible music. As a songwriter, myself, I can only hope to one day be as good as him...

I love Chris's voice reminds me of Waylon Jennings.

Chris himself, may remind you of Waylon. But, his voice sounds nothing like Waylon's. Chris has a much higher register than Waylon, you never heard Waylon come anywhere close to hitting some of the notes Chris does. Chris's voice reminds me a lot of Travis Tritt.
