I have no woman by my side. I was given an expiration date from the doctors (less than 8 years left), and still lonely. A lot of people I tell this to reply by telling me that someone is there for me somewhere ... yet NONE of them offer to be that ONE! I know I will die ALONE! I have accepted that already. I have climbed the Rockies and Pikes Peak. Been up the steps of Machu Picchu. Drank till I passed out a few times. Had a bonfire in the desert. Served in the Marines (0317). Business owner since 1996. Home owner. Traveled in 27 different countries. Swam in 3 oceans. Flew a plane. Skydived (and H.A.L.O. jumped a few times). Been homeless twice. Survived a lightning strike when I was a kid. Been through now 5 tornadoes. Learned some trades (chef, blacksmith, electrician, artist, gunsmith, carpenter, cabinet maker, bouncer, bodyguard (I am 6'10" so that was not hard)). Traveled in over 30 states in the US. I grow most of my own food in the garden (not a vegan). No drugs, live healthy, exercised, strong mentally, good sense of humor ... And all this for what ... to die alone ... no one to love by my side ... And people wonder what I mean when I say, "It is what it is". And NO, I am NOT a Christian, as it is not my faith/religion, so hallow "prayers" mean NOTHING to me! (And PLEASE do not preach to me either!)
