Spoilers Luke turns evil he's working with Kronos and he's trying to help take over the world and at the end of the book he inhabits the body of Kronos he is so laughably evil he makes a sword backbiter that can kill Mortals and demigods and literally is the host of Kronos and is working exclusively with him to kill all the gods because Hermes went to go get milk and never came back and his mom try to become the Oracle of Delphi but went mad and she couldn't handle it

Luke did in fact steal the bolt (and something else very important) driven by Kronos manipulating him but Zeus sent out the gods to find the thief, Ares actually caught Luke and threatened to burn him to ash but being the god of war, Luke AND Kronos played with his head to where he was in on the plan.

I will never read another Rick Riordan book for the rest of my life he has truly sold out on his characters. And his casting approval he is a massive sellout. I hope he never makes another good book ever again. And before people start using the dumb excuses of it was just a fantasy book. There is official art that Rick Riordan commissioned and approve of of what the character should look like so I don't want to hear it. I do not want to hear it from any of you official art that he put his stamp of approval even in his. Data books that he approved of and signed off on even updated versions of the art. So piss off this is not Luke it's okay if they wanted to make changes but get the character in the casting right.

Tbh as a book adaptation its not really doing a lot... but season three opened my eyes, adaptation was never the first agenda, but retelling is. He's putting all of his recent ideologies on his first story. I've benn trying to forget book knowledge to enjoy this more, because, ehile the story beats are the same, a new layer of nuance is on top of it.

@@koirvne yeah but he's not doing this out of a place of being genuine he's doing it because. He wants to Pander to a far left partisan political group. Is the principal of the thing it's all right if you want to make minor changes to his story. But get the characters right it's the principle of your story if you commission art. If you commission and approved of art of what your characters would look like because obviously you had a hand in what the character should look like in the art book in your data books. It makes sense that you had a hand in that art and you approved of it you're just changing people in your show just because diversity equity and ESG scores. And plus you believe in all this partisan political nonsense. Is the principle of the thing and if Arthur's are willing to sell out their work to race change and gender change their characters. Then I have no respect for these writers. Because this is your story you know what the character. should look like and you should be adamant about that. Some things you should not change if you want to retell your story on to. The big screen and make minor changes it's all right if you want to do that. But if the character looks a certain way or if you're unlucky did not get a specific height. Minor things like that can be ignored as long as you capture the spirit of the character . And if you're making wild changes from your book counterpart do you have made an error you're not doing this out of a place of getting the best person you're just doing this to pander. And it's obvious that Rick Riordan is doing nothing but pandering none of the characters feel like the characters from the book. and I'm sick to death of book adaptations pulling this crap and I'm sick of comedies pandering because it's bullshit.

I'm not going to spend my time wrighting a long paragraph ,but its litteraly call being a good actor .The actors are amazing and if I am being honest you need to grow the fuck up .Just because Luke's actor dosent have the blonde hair dosent meen he is less of a good actor or that he cant play the role well.He is a villan so the actors capability to make it sem like he is nice is astonishing , he is also a charecter that dosent get much screen time so its litteraly fine.Ps,you rlly do need to grow the absolute FUCK up.(thanks)
