8:30 Sydney needs a Ruckman? I am not in the school of thought that any club needs an A+ grade Ruckman and tie up a big chunk of the salary cap, wouldn't the money be better spent beefing up midfield stocks. What is wrong with getting a Ruckman that is capable but not the King of the pile e.g., Kieran Strachan from Adelaide and Ned Moyle from Gold Coast have shown that they are very capable at AFL level, but both spend the majority of their time in the reserves and would not cost the farm to bring in as a team's goto Ruck option.

Disgraceful bias by Kane once again, the club was derelict in their duty of care towards Allir and Kane would rightly crucify any other club doctor. All the medical team on the bench have concussion training, not just the doctor.

The caller didn't have any concern for the two players that went off in the showdown game he was only crying that it was "cheating". Yes Kane has some bias in this conversation as he said but fans who are jumping on the bandwagon to call out Kane are only using the mismanagement of two concussed players to do so, with no care for them.

Kane reiterated that they were put into concussion protocols and there were no complains from him and he’s said the doctor made a mistake and the club has to own it. The different between that and the fans in the comments is that they care less about the outcome than they do about creating a bandwagon on Kane.

@@vigour6786 Put into concussion protocols due to public and AFL pressure, if this was any other club Kane would be all fire and brimstone. I agree many fans don't actually care about the players and just want to pot Port but It's obvious to anyone other than one eyed Port fans they sent Aliir back out to avoid being a man down and subbed Jones with "migraine" to avoid the 12 day mandatory sit out period. They then entered them into protocol after massive public and media backlash to cover their ass, same as Butters last year who also went down with a similar head clash with Jonas and was sent back out with no scat5 tests because the game was on the line. This doctor has form for this type of thing.

@@raphaelkoch1573 Aliir was being beat by Tex all night by Tex before he came off. Some people react differently to concussions and the coach and doctor were both surprised that Aliir was appearing to be fine after coming off. Yes he was clearly concussed but they didn't brush past it to get him back out when he was already getting beat by Tex, that is a cop out reason sorry. And this talk of "but if it was another club Kane would blah blah blah", where has this happened before? It hasn't and you're sounding like another bandwagon member because that's what they all say. Kane has called out Port before, and before you say "give me an example because I don't remember one" he called them out last week when Butters got away with throwing the ball when it clearly wasn't a handball. You also said the doctor has form of doing this but gave me 1 example that fits your narrative, tell me how many times he's pulled players due to concussion.

@@vigour6786 Whrther he was being beaten by Tex isn't the point, it would still have left them one rotation short. And Kane has a history of giving Port passes he doesn't give other clubs, his whole media schitch is straight talking hard nosed media guy who calls out football clubs and players, you're lying to yourself if you think he'd tread this softly if any other clubs doctors sent a player back out without proper concusion protocol. As for other incidents, Wines recieved a head knock earlier in the year agaianst Bulldogs, no test, Jones and Butters last year against Richmond with an almost identical headclash, no concusion test on either player with both back minutes after becauae the gane was in the line and Butters later developing delayed concusion, also Hartlett 2016 hard head knock and came off the ground in no mans land sent back out with no concussion test which Port got fined for, same doctor with all those incidents.
