Inexperience cost Littler, especially not going for the 161 with Heta on 170. You don't give any professional a sniff, Heta didn’t take it but it shook Littler enough and missed 3 doubles because of it. Cost him the match. Has a lot of learning to do, then again its his first full season, he's learning all the time and he has a big target on his back. Brilliant from Heta, he was sensational and only for a couple of shaky moments in the last 3/4 legs, it was near faultless.

Weird move by Littler on the 155. I'm sure when he saw Heta hit the second treble his nerves were just shot. Could've really helped him out there to put the nerves back onto Heta and just worry about your next shot IF you miss the checkout. But overall a fantastic match. Can't be disappointed. Heta is the man.

The thing about playing at this level is that you need sports psychologists and life coaches around to have a quiet word now and again. LL is an incredible talent for his age but he needs guidance in how to behave in defeat as well as victory. Nothing will lose you fans so quickly as turning your back on a victorious opponent and putting your darts away with a long face like he did tonight. Hopefully, he will receive advice and learn.

It one thing to lose when you play bad. It’s another to lose when you play real well. There are 2 winners in this match imo. And it might have actually been better for Luke to have lost this match. He only made one big mistake in this match not going for the D bull checkout with hets on 170. Littler should never ever do that again. Especially see how well Hets had been playing. Littler put pressure on himself since hets lsmost took out the 170. Anyone in the tournament could take at 170. Why risk it.

That's a few times I've seen Littler it's as if he doesn't want to congratulate the guy that's just beat him, putting your darts away with your back turned doesn't make littler look good, don't get me wrong he has been a breath of fresh air for darts and is a phenomenal player, just a wee thing that annoys me a bit, he's the future of darts so maybe changing that will see him in a even better light 👍

If a player instead deliberately provoked another player, or attacked them just because they lost then I would have serious problems with that player. I believe what Luke did wasn’t that, and instead he was just coming down off the tension of the game, once he’d calmed down he hugged chatted and congratulated Heta
