In the first fight Fury was cheating; he was throwing low blows, he was repeatedly standing on Usyk's lead foot, he was holding the top rope to get extra leverage on his punches & a whole host of other rule infringements. Let’s be honest, the split decision in the first fight flattered Fury. The fight could’ve easily been waved off in the 9th and had it been, we wouldn’t be deliberating over the outcome of the sequel. If, as is predicted by many, Fury comes out, takes the centre of the ring and try’s to put it on Usyk, he’ll be serving himself up for a beating. His only chance of any kind of success will be getting behind his jab, tying Usyk up and trying to nick the rounds anyway he can. Either way I can’t see Usyk losing to Fury, I think it will be an even more emphatic victory for the Ukrainian.
@xiv74772 күн бұрын
Agreed. If Fury comes out swinging, he'd better nail Usyk early or he'll be picked to pieces by the smaller, faster man. If he tries to box, he's going up against possibly the best technician currently in the sport. He has a significant size and reach advantage, which IMO is the only thing making this fight competitive. If they were the same size, Usyk would be a very heavy favourite. They both took damage in the last fight, they've both aged, but whereas Fury was seen collapsing drunk outside of a pub, I suspect Usyk has been living clean and training hard. So for me, it's another close fight, but ultimately a late stoppage for Usyk.

Tyson Fury has ZERO chance of defeating Usyk. This guy went life and death with one of the worst champions ever to hold a belt, Wilder. The same Wilder who lost every round to Joe Parker and had his head turned round 180 degrees by Zhang. THAT Wilder had Fury on the canvas 4 times over 3 fights. Fury has fought one snorefest against a pensioner to win the belts in 2015, congratulations, since then, he's fought puddings and got laid out by a novice (Ngannou) in his first pro boxing match. Usyk will destroy him and make him look like a fat elephant on ice skates. Game Over.

Yep.💯 Add to that that he needed two fights to convincingly beat John McDermott. Struggled against Otto Wallin, who has never looked good since that fight. Had to push Dillian to get the knockout, even though Dillian’s chin was shot to bits at that point. Couldn’t drop Chisora even once in THREE fights. Even in the third fight when Chisora was past it. If Fury is heavier than he was last time, he doesn't stand a chance. He will gas out faster than he did last time, and Uysk will likely let him tire himself out in the first half of the fight and punish him for it in the second half. I see this going the distance again and Usyk winning on points again, but I think this time it will be unanimous, even if the judges try to score it in favour of Fury. I doubt either man can put the other down, Fury goes down often but he can take good hits and recover quickly, whereas Usyk can take good hits and stay on his feet. I think Fury will go down 2-3 times in the 12 rounds and lose points, and maybe even a point deducted if he tries to play dirty too often.

@@sirdetmist3204 yeah as much as people suck fury off now I really do think when people look back at his record it will age absolutely terribly. I’ve been watching the latest developments from Saudi Arabia. The grand arrivals, the media team work etc. What stands out a mile to me, is that Usyk is relaxed and calm, he’s answering all the questions presented to him. He’s involved in all the interviews and in good spirits. Fury on the other hand is the complete opposite. He’s edgy and nervous. He looks in a foul mood like he doesn’t want to be there. He’s also giving short answers in his media work and interviews, and his demeanour is very aggressive just like last time. Him and his team are absent from the event, like they are trying to show how serious they are. I keep hearing “Oh he hasn’t spoken to his family or his wife for 3 months while in camp. It’s all a bluff. I think Usyk is gonna punch his lights out Hatman. I don’t think coming in heavier helps Fury against someone as elusive as Usyk, especially if the fight goes past 7 rounds. Usyk looks in tremendous shape. I think Fury will gas early and tire quickly, even if he’s feeling stronger. Usyk wins again all day long for me. Too good for Fury. AND STILL.

I dont think Fury did enough to beat Klitschko and the showboating fooled people to think he was in control when in reality he couldn't land a glove on Klitschko and the cuts on Klitschko people think was from punches was from 2 head clashes. He was a bad man vs Wilder though credit where credit is due.

Did you hear what Johhny Nelson was saying on Sky Sports at the weekend. He claims he knows from inside sources, they're gameplan last time was to box on the backfoot. Supposedly, they believe Usyk thinks Fury will come at him reckless, so they want to surprise him. Accodring to Johnny Nelson, Fury's plan will be to try throw Usyk off by trying to out box him, but this time, on the front foot.

I don’t think Fury is playing any major mind games. I believe Usyk won fair and square, but if Fury thinks he won, that’s not delusional-it was a close fight. If Fury thinks if he’s fit enough he can do what he did in rounds 4-7 for more rounds, then that’s a miscalculation; Usyk adapted to the strategy so if Fury tries it again it won’t be as successful.
