You know its bad when an American is raging about pronunciations 😂

Keane's tackle on Alfie Haaland is one of the biggest lies in football. ( keep in mind am a non english liverpool fan and i am saying this ) (this is long warning i just want to give full context) 1 - The tackle LOOKS worse than it is only because people dont seem to understand physics by watching their surroundings , simple explanation is this , if Keane had hit the other leg that was planted on the ground it would have been a career ender and would have probably snapped that leg in half , the leg Keane hit was the one in the air that was already limp and moved instantly with Keane's foot hense why Alfie did that turn around with the foot , you can try this at home , get a piece of paper and put tension on it and then punch it and it will break clean and then get another paper and hold it from the top and let the other end hang freely and punch it again the paper will move back but will not brake simple physics that you can understand by WATCHING WITH YOUR EYES 2 - Alfie's " career ending injury " was on his other leg in the first place , right after Roy's tackle he played a lot more matches without taking any time off and when he did it was because of the other leg 3 - Alfie has claimed that he never played a full 90 again after that tackle which also partially true but with added context is also false , Alfie was near the end of his career as an already a little worse than average player at that point hense why he was at City at the time , Alfie had regularly missed the full 90 prior to that tackle and when he played he wasnt really regarded as a good player to have him stay were he was at , once the injury on the other leg kept becoming worse he chose to prematurely quit to save his physical health and his reputation even though he would have been able and good enough to play in lower level leagues but he didnt choose that since by that point Erling was also already born ( in England not Norway) Alfie in his day was an alright Prem level defender no doubt but he has spread misinformation about this situation probably and this is only my opinion because he was punked by Roy Keane and was made to be a soft boy who got hit hard because he tried to be hard when he in fact wasnt , when it comes to Roy that would even be considered a "soft" tackle by his standards , he was always more of a stiff physical player than just a axe tackler like people make him out to be

That Spain vs Netherlands World Cup final in 2010, where that Nigel de Jong king fu kick to Xabi Alonso's chest happened, i remember Alan Hansen (a BBC analyst at the time) saying "we talk about total football with the Dutch, but that first half was total thuggery"
@sehu1291Ай бұрын
Yeah it was early in the match. But Alonso played the full 120 minutes I think. De jong and van Bommel were madmens. Like in the battle of Nuernberg at the WC 2006 vs Portugal
@mrmr5580Ай бұрын
@sehu1291 I think Alonso was subbed in extra time for Fabregas (I could be wrong, it was a while ago 🤣) if im remembering right Van Bommel was a pest all tournament
@sehu1291Ай бұрын
@@mrmr5580 van Bommel was a pest his whole career. But he was good. Won the CL with Barca. Reached the CL final as captain of Bayern.
@mrmr5580Ай бұрын
@sehu1291 that's a fair comment, Van Bommel was a pest his whole career, one reason I used to often sign him on Championship Manager back in the day 🤣 he was very good at his job

Have you ever heard of the bomb attack on the BVB Dortmund bus on the way to the CL game against Monaco in 2016? Marc Bartra was seriously injured. But UEFA wanted Dortmund to play the next day. Dortmund went down absolutely in the quarter-final against Monaco. That was also the reason why Tuchel left Dortmund because there was a huge argument with Dortmund's boss because Tuchel refused to play. The freak who made the attack on the BVB bus wanted to kill as many players as possible to lower Dortmund's share price, he had previously traded for tens of thousands of euros on the stock exchange that Dortmund's share price would fall. Naturally, the stock exchange supervisory authority immediately became aware of this. He got the idea from a GTA mission

1:35 he didn't even had to say it he could have just saud Champions League x) 11:37 there's so many Brutal fouls in sunday league, they don't care because it won't ruin his career which isn't his "bread winning job" The first video had other "good" clips that weren't shown in the second video, it's just the pronounciation that's terrible
@sehu1291Ай бұрын
True. I life in Germany near a clinic for accidents. Most FC Bayern players are operated on there. The clinic's helicopter often flies to football pitches in surrounding villages in the event of serious injuries. The most brutal fouls I have seen were on the lowest leagues

That keane tackle looks worse than it was, its been falsely credited with stopping haalands career and kind of builds the allure of roy keane being this violent monster on the pitch (partly true). Still an awful tackle but not deserving of no1 theres loads of worse ones in here for sure. idk if it even touches top 3 worst keane fouls. entertaining video though better than footflix lmao
@handsolo1209Ай бұрын
Yeah, Haaland had surgery and only played 5 games for Man City again after that in THREE seasons, and was then retired for EIGHT years before he played a couple of seasons in the Norwegian league. Yeah, "looks worse than it was"...
