What a great story! It's fun to find someone else who sort of backed into their career and sort of took a leap of faith to get started in something new. Over the past couple years I've gotten hooked on Thai TV and movies, and have come to appreciate the unique Thai "look" where many of the stars seem to have a mix of ethnicities - and am glad you found a place where you can fit in as a star.

Ankylosing spondylitis is the condition. His condition not really can be treated completely. Have to have a lot of exercise and physio for it.

@@_gcoke8446 it is a serious condition, that he needs to follow all his treatment plan tightly. Some people suffer severe pain and couldn't walk at all. But gladly Luke didn't continue with his desk job, otherwise it worsen his condition

Ok first i have to apologise,I'm the one who's been spamming "but what i want to know is how did a Japanese American end up as an actor in Thailand" everywhere. Even on your dads posts 😭 (only the one's that had something to do with you) so I'm actually glad that didn't go to waste. Secondly that was a really inspiring story. The "go for it" theme really resonates with me,can't wait to watch your biopic movie in some 30 years time,it's already a blockbuster. And i know you'll get even more popular so there's that. Then lastly as a medical student i shouldn't be giving you any unfounded hope as i don't know the details of your diagnosis but even if it's a tiny percentage there is always a possibility that the symptoms might subside,attenuate or even disappear completely with time. I'm not an optimist by nature but you obviously are so can we hold on to that in the mean time right? Thank you for sharing your story,it's highkey relatable (except the gorgeous face part) and inspiring. Things sometimes turn out fine when you take risks right? Thanks for being a living proof ☺

You may feel weird to hear that, but as a Hong Konger, I felt glad that you didn't come to HK because the entertainment/modeling industry here is weak, at least not as great as the time at 80s-90s. Of course I hope we can do better with new blood/face/energy~but in general, I don't think you could achieve what you did in Bangkok if you were in HK. Ankylosing Spondylitis is no joke. Many of the people in my psoriatic arthritis group have it. I have cervical spondylosis to go with the PsA. I know what it’s like to be in pain every day, though you learn to live with it most days. It’s the fatigue that seems to hit harder than anything else. It’s good that you were diagnosed early, so you can treat it and prolong your mobility.
