so much better than what passes for 'techno' djs these days (drumcode junkies and instagram fashion models as djs). what a legend Slater is. and his sound isn't nostalgic, he still cares about the music..... which is why so many of the legend djs have become useless today except for nostalgia nights. stopped innovating. respect for this guy x 1000.
@matthewthechalk5 жыл бұрын
I agree with your sentiment, but is it really necessary to have to bash another type of techno just to make Luke look good? I love Beyer and Coxy and all those DJ'S, doesn't mean that they aren't "techno", they're just different.
@billclay27015 жыл бұрын
@@matthewthechalk the sets are too same sounding from these festival DJs. Locked BPMs, same sounding tracks, label worshipping. But realistically the "people" love this stuff and my opinion matter about 0.01% lol. They will be all right. To have an opinion doesn't equate to bashing. Those guys are dong well an will continue to do so. I have mad respect for Cox and the other legends (I don't really judge the latest crop of models/DJs because its a new phenom), but one can be critical when it comes to something as subjective as music.

Luke understands the true soul of techno, pioneered in Detroit in the 1990s by Mike Banks and Jeff Mills (Underground Resistance).
