i had a Karen once. my brothers and their friends were running and scootering around our neighborhood, and they went pretty close to the karen's house. a little while later, she came to our front door claiming they were chasing her cats and scaring them. "i have a recording. i will turn that recording in to the police if i have to." she said. "i won't this time, but next time, i will"

Karen security worker screamed at me and my mom in the airport and forced us to do things that were against the law because I forgot to take my Chromebook out of my bag and the alarm beeped. She proceeded to insult me so my mom told her she was being rude and she screamed at the top of her lungs saying “I am not being rude you will know when I’m being rude”

just today me and my friend had an encounter with a karen. keep reading to know my story so today was a festival called holi (celebrated in india) so one day before holi, on the night, we light a huge fire and circle around it and pray. so after i did that, i was with my friend filling my water gun (you shoot water and everyone and color them with colored powder its pretty fun). so some kids were filling their water guns from the pool. and i got near the sidewalk of the pool and a lady comes up and is like "aRe YOu ILlletrAte DOnt u STudY?" we said we were just walking and the karen is like "You thINK i dOnt undeRSTAnd??" and then my friend just called his mom and the karen argued with her.and the security had to be called and they told the karen to go away and she did then.

They can record in a public building. Even if it's a police station or city building, it's for public use. He has every right to record, and public officials and staff need to identify themselves since they work for the public. He wasn't rude to the staff until they became hostile. Cop can ask for ID all they want, but if no crime was committed, he doesn't have to provide it. It's just a First Amendment audit, and it shows you that everyone has rights that most don't even know about. Keep up the good work, camera guy!

@SnakeAnimations You're asking the right questions. They don't understand the law and the constitution. They put these officers out there with barely any training and understandings of the constitution and people rights, that most citizens don't know they have. There's no need to be rude to public officials, which he isn't, but they all perceive that (camera) as a threat. Honestly, I would hope that he's conducting business (a reason) to be there and not drum up drama, but who knows. He still had rights, just like the rest of us. Check out the constitution yourself. Policy doesn't dictate laws. Laws are the laws, and you can't be arrested for having their feelings hurt.
