I live inNorth Carolina. I played Pinehurst #2 once and will never again. It’s brutal. 500 yard par 4 holes, crowned greens, false fronts, native waste areas on the fairways, slick putting surfaces, Jeez man what else could Donald Ross do to make a day difficult? The town of Pinehurst is magical little place with 31 golf courses in 30 minutes drive. The Southern food in the village is very good. If you can manage to shoot under 80 as both of these guys did that is a great score. I stopped keeping score the one time I played so I could enjoy my experience.

I played here in the Barstool Classic in 2021 (Pinehurst #4, #2 & #1) and I just want to thank you for doing this course as well as Tobacco Road. This brought the memories back of my favorite golf trip thus far!

Flag format us great. Adds an extra element to the stroke play. But breaks the round up into mini rounds meaning you can let go of 3 bad holes mentally and approach the next 3 with a fresh mindset. Great concept.

Really can see what Kwon means when he says he used to be just golf swing and not golf As I'm going through that process myself. Recently I've concentrated fully on swing and ball striking. It's gotten me down to a few high 70's mostly consistent low 80's. Now I need to get good at course management maybe I can beat 75. My current best 3 rounds are a 78 and two 79's Also love that he has hit up Tobacco Road and Pinehurst here lately. Some NC love. Also play at some courses with some amazing looking fox squirrels :D

Just depends on tee shots I think. Playing from the sand over and over made it tough gauging distance and holding greens. Also I know better which greens you gotta play safer to but that can change depending on where they put the flags obviously

No criticism at all but you had a case of the lefts all day off the tee box which surprised the hell out of me because I'm used to seeing that power fade. I'm confident you'd scare Par or under with the patented fade. Regardless, I'm absolutely loving your content with Sean. I look forward to these types of videos more than any other golf content by far by dude. Keep crushing it. You're both so entertaining and always looking for new game styles to introduce to your matches to keep it from getting boring with the same "Match" or "Stroke Play" styles. So far Hawaii has still been my favorite content. It just looked so damn peaceful and the courses were GORGEOUS. All the best buddy. Keep grinding!

The 4th green on No. 2 was the first green on which I ever putted. My dad was a Security Officer at the old World Golf Hall of Fame, which sat right behind the 4th green and 5th tee. I was 4 years old. I last played No. 2 as an 8-handicapper in 2014. That was the only time I ever played it from the U.S. Open tees, and I shot 88. Granted, I was 44 years of age--not 24--but the Old Deuce is a beast.

2006 went with some buddy's, bought the "putter boy package" played 7 1/2 rounds in three days. Would HIGHLY RECOMMED! Staff was great, entire property and all the courses (9 I think) were all amazing. Also getting crushed by #2 is a right a passage. Love Pinehurst.

Stunning quality content, and really excellent playing - even though I know you would have liked to score better. I played there in September, and did NOT play from the tips like you guys did. For those who have never played #2, the gold tees on #10 and 12 are so far back it's a joke. Well over 100 yards back there. Several holes are like that. You guys don't even mention it. You make the game look very easy, and show the difficulty of Pinehurst #2 perfectly. Great stuff!

FYI - there's sand everywhere in "native areas" around the course because that small area of NC is the Sandhills. The ground is all mainly unconsolidated sand left over from the Glacial period. So those side areas of sand and small bushes are truly native growth.

Kind of like Chambers Bay Golf Course in Tacoma! They played the Open there and got horrible revues on how tough it was
