Hi, Luke, it's the third comment I've been writing as two of my former ones disappeared into thin air and I still feel like I owe you an appreciation for your brilliant job. I don't want to be one of the ninjas, as you call this kind of listener, staying in the shadow even if they like your podcasts and listen to them on a regular basis. It feels a bit like enjoying a street musician's or busker's performance and then quietly disappearing towards the end of it just to avoid having to part with a pound or so, as sadly some people quite often do. I hope, the third-time lucky rule works, so I'm taking a chance to pass my appreciative note, which as a now regular listener of your podcasts, I believe I owe you. I've been browsing the internet some time ago listening to a few English teachers when I came across your podcast. It caught my interest right away cause it seemed to be different from all the others in terms of style, as well as the content. What might attract the listeners is the way you speak in a natural, relaxed way as if you were talking to a friend over a cup of tea, without any apparent effort to impress your listeners, which actually is exactly how you impress them. It's a charm of your naturalness, which does the trick, and whatever you do, whether it's a monologue on a particular subject, reading a story, interviewing your guest, or just casual "rumbling" as you call it yourself, it always sounds beautifully natural and pleasant to listen, not to mention interesting.

It is " rambling" .Rumbling refers to a noise made by your stomach for example when you are hungry or an active volcano getting ready to explode. I thought I would correct you on otherwise great comment.
I never get fed up with listening to you as your English sounds like music.what is more, in this rambling episode you comfort us that nobody is perfect , not even the nazive speakers. Not everybody is able to admit it.I really liked the slogan Connection not Perfection is important.

@Luke's English Podcast Hello Luke, I just wanted to say that I’m very happy you decided to become a podcaster. I’ve been learning English for one and a half years, and I've listened to many podcasts on different subjects with different accents. I’ve noticed that the way you speak, your sentence structure, your vocabulary, and your voice are all fantastic. I recommend your podcast to all English learners and I would say writing down some of your sentences and reviewing them in their spare time. They will realise that their English will improve significantly. Best regards, Katia

Hello Luke! This is a ninja student. I've been listening to your podcast/watching your videos for more than 3 years. I enjoy it every time! I love the way you speak and the way you read (when you do it from time to time). Sometimes it's easy to understand, sometimes it's challenging 😰 but everything is priceless. I learn a lot from the material! And most importantly, I never get bored! Some episodes I listen to more than once. It was interesting what you told about your experiences at school and here, in LAP-land. Until now I imagined that you had a long-term contact with your students at school. Only now I learned that what you are doing is a kind of course and it probably lasts only a few months. So we can enjoy your company for much longer! I am very happy about that. Thank you very much for your efforts, Luke!

An absolutely good episode with so much natural, fluently English giving the really spirit of being busy. So how life's like going on. For me a very good practice and some expressions I want to repeat to make the "5 s" real.... Now I'm very calm beginning my retired life with some routines bevor I take my new super enjoyable E-bike to arrive on time to meet the Tuesdays table-tennis friends at 11 a. m. in the club for elderly people. It's so wonderful to be retired, living in this area in the north of Berlin surrounded with a beautiful landscape. I can only say: Thanks God and thanks my loved husband for motivating and supporting me in so many ways.... And staying busy, but not too much....

Hi teacher Luke! Thanks for this rambling podcast I've just finished listening to. Your earlier podcasts were probably more entertaining where you talked to us at a more personal level such as in episode 27 and many others like the one you did in one of those CALIFORNIA ROAD TRIP podcasts, you did one in the plane toilet. Since your podcasts fall in the comedy genre, which I suppose you enjoy doing most as a stand up comedian, you should be as funny as before. Your name has already become synonymous to a refined funny gentleman. Your funs are unforgettable.

Hi Luke, I've been listening to you everyday since I came across your youtube channel 2 months ago (can we actually say "love" at first sound? haha). It is so amazing how you determine to keep your episodes this long (you called it "method in madness"?). I personally don't feel bored at all and feel like talking to a friend, even though I don't really talk (but I do laugh). Thank you for the time and effort you have put in making these podcasts over the years, even when you are crazy busy with life. Please keep up the great work, these episodes really help people like me (not living in English-speaking environments). Take care.
