So much of this resonated with me. I have always wanted to give all my femininity, all of myself, but I have never found a man who is intuned. As a single, strong, independent woman I am tired of being treated like a man. Thanks for being understanding of our needs and putting that information out there.

I have been offering this space of vulnerability to the men I have had relationships with, holding a space of vulnerability not submissiveness (don't get it confused) HOLD YOUR FEMININITY LADIES and it will ALLOW YOUR MAN to OPEN. See him for who he is, not the things you expect or judge or know him to be if there's a history. Men respond greatly to this, just be soft, yet state your needs and boundaries in a respectful way "I require this to make me feel this way etc" MEN FEEL LOVE VIA RESPECT and if you can CULTIVATE THE RESPECT without being a BITCH, just state your needs and ASK HIM WHAT HE TRULY NEEDS. Eye gaze, just look at each other, connect in breathing, hold each other without any movement or expecations to have SEX JUST BE WITH EACH OTHER. INTIMACY IS A LOST ART due to our FEARS

As a woman I do long to be feminine. Have always been "one of the guys" which now I see has made me solid..hard and emotionally blocked. I appreciate the call to release and be what I know is within me.

Thank you for this, lads. Good conversation! And good messages from John about what women want ...men who have depth...men who desire and worship them... "men whose nervous systems are strong enough to handle a woman's ALL". Carry on, men! LOVE FULLY! About money...women STILL earn FAR LESS in general - - so you must be hanging out with very successful women.

@Helene Steen: Go to most Evangelical churches . . . or Mormon churches . . . or Amish communities . . . or Japan . . . and that's what you'll find, more often than not. But then, I suspect that maybe you'd interpret the Men's "solidity" as being dogmatic or rigid or old-fashioned about Masculine and Feminine roles . . .

PS You would never be asked to sacrifice your relationship to Source by a woman who is awakened herself ...and shares your priority. Miguel Ruiz says it's common VALUES that keep people together, rather than attraction, humor, charm, shared delight...VALUES.

About the living alone and just being with yourself only part, as sort of a cleanse after a breakup: What if a guy has been 90% single in his life, and hardly lived with a partner either? Should he be daring to continue to open himself and his life to a woman. Or break up with a woman he loves because he feels he can't do relationships right now, and be alone for however long it'll take for him to be ready? If a guy constantly has background noise and watches movies and comedy, constant stimulation, what does that mean? Does that advice apply to women? I just got broken up with the man I described above, who said he didn't feel worthy of being with me, and that due to emotional issues in his own life that are coming up (major traumatic and sad childhood stuff), he couldn't handle being in a r'ship. I think I've been going after a relationship for a solid 3-4 year to no avail. Should I just quit the dating completely for 6 months to a year, entertaining no dating in person or online, and just be with myself, create a life I'd love to live, work and all, and when I'm totally good with myself and my life, then dare to date and be open with a men again? And what if I have lived alone a lot in my life? Not wanted to lived with roommates or a parent and never lived with a boyfriend? Should I start having roommates and live with people I like?

Rebecca Kehl Maybe you are trying too hard. When a man says he isn't good enough for you, he is not interested in a relationship with you. Believe him and move on. He may change his mind!

4:10 Women have gotten very good at saying "Here's what I want" (?) Are you actually good at saying what you want . . . if what you say you want is unrealistic to the point of being impossible (?) No . . . and that's the case with most Women today.

Agree a lot of modern women seem to have unrealistic expectations and they're never open to healing their childhood traumas. The blame game is appalling

WHAT WOMEN WANT! Respect, Honesty, (Don't say you are divorced, when only separated).! Loyalty, Humour, Affection, (Does not necessarily mean SEX!) Integrity. Women used to be accused of only wanting a man for his money. Now they earn their OWN money and don't need a man just for that, Nor a man who just wants to get into their panties. Men don't seem to like it if a woman has an opinion, Just like the song in the first wives club " Don't tell me what to do, and don't tell me what to say" I dated a man for just a few weeks, and he told me I should get a bigger screen T.V. I barely knew the guy!

@Ann Harrison: You say: "Now they earn their OWN money and don't need a man just for that . . ." So you need to explain why Women, no matter how much money they make, still want a Man who makes MORE . . .

Why do men sexually crave a woman, while not being in love with her?

Because men’s sexual desire runs deeper than emotions.

Men wonder the opposite thing about women, why do they only sexually crave a man if there are emotions? I suppose the answer is that we’re just built that way, because idk about you but nothing could possibly change that about me as a man, no amount of childhood conditioning

What I found is that even though they make more, they always want the option to just quit if she ever wanted to, hence the reason they want you to make more in the event they change their mind. A woman’s innate mission is to create a home in the village and provide a warm place to raise children, while the men provide. Woman are just playing these masculine roles because they think they have to, but they secretly resent it.
