The only reason I give this song 9.99/10 is beacause Luna is still bitter when she gets banished to the moon so i expected more a bittersweet song rather than just all sweet. Other than that I can't stop listening to this song! You should get a reward for songwriting!!!

If you want what I believe is a more accurate version of Luna's response, look into "Luna's Soliloquy". It shows more the fact that she was bitter to the whole situation and that nightmare moon was still there. There is also a duet version of that and the original Lullaby For A Princess and, though not quite as cleaned up like this, it's pretty good!

Listen people...I don't like the other reply of luna that much...that's a great and sad song but...ok lemme explain why I like this one more...when luna was angry she sang that song when she recalled the experiences with her sister and she sings it to show Celestia that what she had been doing was hurting her to such an extent that she hated her a bit with a passion...but here then it seems like she overthinks and remembers how her jelousy got the best of her as she had not just hurt the ponies who didn't appreciate her night but infact she had rose fear in the hearts of young ones who were too innocent to know what she was doing...she blames herself...just like what we do when we fight with our friends especially if they say something which might hurt you and offend you...we might be angry with them for any reason but we cannot deny the fact that we sorta have a guilty feeling too...so we sometimes overthink which leads to us wanting to apologise and try to sort this out ourselves...don't get me wrong- the other one is dark...but that sounds more like nighmare moon is still inside Luna and here with this sad and weak voice it sounds like Luna lost hope and wants to apologize and forget what she had done in order to get others to adore her...I like this because both feel sorry and upset but when they end singing I imagine them reuniting, apologizing to eachother and with tears of both sadness and joy the forget about the past and make up for lost time with eachother as a beautiful little family....
