Sorry my hands went a little off camera during the tutorial. The cinnamon stick is pushed through the corner hole that is at the bottom of the triangle (once the corner is folded up). I have been making these trees , but did not know of the cinnamon stick. I sewed up the back leaving a slight opening and crochet the trunk, then i put candy canes in through the top.

Wonderful idea!! Through which hole did you put the cinnamon stick through, the first from the outer corner or the second, which would be between the centre and the one in the first round? I love the idea!!!!

Thank you. Yes sorry my hands went a bit off camera there. When you fold that little triangle up it's the hole that is exactly at the bottom, it will make sense if you have a granny square in front of you.

How cute!! The part bottom part of the square though was not visible on camera...couldnt see what you were doing...with the fold and the sticks. Were you, I guess "weaving it" in between the yarn holes? You glued it to the yarn? I'll definitely have to make these right away. Thank you!

If you click on the one that says craft supplies you will find them in there. It opens a whole list when you click on it,
