i practiced a few times (actually indoors in my room) following the follow up video to this one and got it down to just a few minutes. Its easy enough, but I'm glad I done it at home first, i tend to get a bit flustered doing stuff like this outside in the public view (although usually no one is there !!)

can you get a fly for it, and whats it like in serious wind and rain

Not sure about a fly? It is pegged down at each corner with guide ropes on four sides so pretty stable. Personally if a strong storm is due I'd take it down along with awnings, windbreaks, etc.
