When I find some rare time to listen to music I check out Lumidelic. The village is really superb. Its melody is magical, like an instant classic. The evolution of the arrangement gently draws you in from the intimate start, then guides you into the opening and airy trance-state of the second half. I'm amazed. To me this is a true master composition.

"The Village" has been one of the tracks that has taken me the most time to finish because I started with a main idea but while I was building it other ideas came to me and I wanted to do everything possible to make them fit together haha. When I hear these types of songs, especially this one in particular, I feel like despite all the horrible and corrupt things that are happening to our world, it gives me blissful hope that one day people will take a stand and rise up and the world will be in a golden age.
