Can't open the battery compartment. Ordered new remote. It won't work & the new compartment won't open. I think it's a racquet. Very disappointed 😞

I'm finding it impossible. The label on the back says "push and pull" the slide door, but nothing happened.

For anybody thinking of purchasing... The new style luminara without fragrance pods have a remote with 3 buttons. On, timer and off. The remote that came with the fragrancing ones have two buttons. On and off. The remotes do not work across both types of candle which is a shame. The remote for the diffuser type doesn’t work on the non diffusing, and vice versa.
