I have the same Makita impact driver along with the regular drill combo. These drill are literally the best drills ever. Out of the 300 or so drills I’ve used these hands down are my go to drills. The versatility of them is outstanding and the most reliable. I’ve used them to bore deep holes in wood with no issue. Of course sometimes you need 18v drills for that job which I use when needed but I get the most use out of these makita 12v drills. As an electrician they make work a lot easier for changing out or installing receptacles and working on panels etc and also great for hanging drywall and a ton of other stuff. The light weight and compact design to power ratio is what you really want in a drill. Had mine for years and even bought a back up one years ago but still haven’t used them because my original one are still going strong

My wand came with the attachment piece already on the wand. The 1-inch long thing that's looped is connected to the wand. Do I ram it into place of the blind?

You would nicely press it into the tilter hole on the top headrail of the blind.

Hello, You can attempt to install it on the part of the molding that is as close to flat as you can get. Otherwise, I would suggest installing it above the molding, if possible.

Do you have to use the middle bracket? I don't have the option to use it with my type of windows.

That depends on the the width of your blind. If your blind is 39-inches or wider, then the middle bracket is needed to prevent the blind from sagging in the middle.

You can follow a similar method, just drill into the door and you would use screws only. In addition, there are hold down brackets for the bottom of the blind, so that it stays in place when the door is opened/closed.

Clear plastic pieces that look close to a triangle are used to attach to the bottom rail end caps to keep the blind in place. If you plan on moving the blind up and down, then you do not need them.

This allows the blind to overlap the window frame to prevent additional light from coming through. Please note to add 1.5" on each side, so about 3 inches total (industry standard).

DO NOT measure the inside bracket components of the rail by holding it up and eyeballing it. INSTEAD, you should lay the rail facing up, extend a tape measure, record the exact points there, and then plot them on the wall accordingly 👍🏼

same problem with all three sets we got. very poor quality of fit up. I even tried to dry fit them before installing and could not get them to match up. unfortunately we got them cut at the store so can't take them back.

@@familyr3614 Here are some words of encouragement: We tried and tried, and finally when my husband figured out how to mount the holders, it all became a snap, literally. Things snapped into place. When it came to hanging the second one he got it done in no time. Now he says they are not complicated to hang. But they sure were for the first day! No matter which way we looked at the images in the instructions, we could not get it to work. But once he did, it made total sense (to him!). Best of luck to you!!!

Pending on how you grabbed the blind to apply pressure and rotate the blind back into place, it can sometimes make it more difficult. Where you able to get it into place?

Time to update video, brackets are plastic now not metal. Yes easy to install but guide tells you wrong area to mount hardware.

We offer blinds that follow the same installation process, utilizing either high-density plastic brackets or metal brackets. Both options follow the same procedure, with the only difference being the bracket material.

It's length, not height; please show that you will need a level; and please mention that you need to snap the end caps on the top before you install it, and then you might as well install the end caps on the bottom as well.

I looked up the difference in definition of length and height and found the following: "Length is the measurement of the distance of the object from one end to another. Height is the measure of the distance between the base and top of the object." In this case, height would be the correct word to use. Thank you for your suggestion on the end caps!
