For a small light like this the speciality battery is really a thumbs down, there are plenty of triple A lights that are able to produce excellent results on a battery you can buy literally everywhere no matter how remote

It's a matter of perspective. If you are truly remote, no batteries will be available for purchase. In that case, an internally rechargable battery with size and power output advantges would be prefered by some.
